摘要： In a distributed system having a plurality of processors connected to a common transmission line, each processor comprises means for registering erroneous programs within the processor, and means for changing modes, so that a program is diagnosed on the basis of a processed result of data accepted from the transmission line and is registered in the erroneous program registration means if it is erroneous, and that the mode change means changes-over the test mode and the on-line mode by reference to the erroneous program registration means and in correspondence with the programs registered in or canceled from the registration means.

摘要： In a distributed processing system where a series of processes are carried out by distributed processors connected through a network without provision of a control processor which controls the overall system, an arbitrary processor generates test information and the processors, each having a memory for storing a program to be tested, decide whether or not the program is to be test-run in accordance with the test information and, if test-run is carried out, send out the result of the test-run program into the network when necessary.

摘要： A system allows a user to select a service on a device and request a service executing function of a server to carry out the service. An authentication function authenticates the user and searches the functions of devices required in the requested service within the authority given to the user. The function acquires and registers the right to use in a device-configuration managing function through a right-to-use managing function. An adaptor delivering function delivers specifications for setting connections between functions required for execution of the service and a group encryption key generated by a key-generating function to devices. Device coordinating functions set device-embedded functions based on the received specifications. The functions conduct cipher communication with other devices using the key and carry out the service.

摘要： In a distributed processing system including a plurality of intelligent devices such as an optical sensor and a processing machine connected via a network to each other, when a first optical sensor is moved from a first section to a second section, if an identifier indicative of the second section is set, then the first optical sensor transmits a retrieve message containing this identifier via the network so as to seek a second optical sensor which is set to the same second section. Then, the first optical sensor acquires a setting parameter from the second optical sensor, and executes an operation in cooperation with the second optical sensor set in the same second section. As a result, in such a distributed processing system including a plurality of computers (intelligent devices) whose processing contents are different from each other, depending upon setting places thereof, workloads for changing the setting values of these computers can be reduced.

The second computer includes a filter in which the contents codes differently set for respective sub-networks are stored and which changes the contents code contained in the received frame to the contents code set for the receiving sub-network.
