    摘要: In a linear motor coil assembly (12), and a method for manufacturing the same, a plurality of coils (14) are arranged in a line in a direction of movement and have respective coil axes perpendicular to the direction of movement of the motor. A flat cooling tube (20) is arranged to meander inside the plurality of coils. The cooling tube has a cross section elongated in a direction parallel to the coil axes, and a plurality of clearance holes (25) through which coolant flows are formed inside the cooling tube. The cooling tube has interleaved folds at least equal in number to the number of coils. The coils being fitted into these folds. At the time of manufacture of the coil assembly, the coils are wound around cores that are divided for each coil, and the cores are inserted into the folds of the cooling tube.

    摘要: An electric discharge machining apparatus comprises a quill 8 movable in the vertical direction, at least one set of linear motor movers attached to the quill, symmetrically about a center axis of the quill, and a single set of linear motor stators facing the set of movers. An electrode mounting device (9) for holding a tool electrode (6) is attached to a lower end of the quill, coaxially with the quill. Preferably, the set of movers includes magnetic plates (12, 14) attached to the quill and a row of permanent magnets (11, 13, 15, 16) arranged on the magnetic plates, and the set of stators includes a yoke (31, 41) and a coil (32, 42) wound around the yoke. The quill has a hole (8a) in its center extending in the vertical direction, and an air cylinder (61) providing counter balance for the load of the quill is preferably disposed in this hole. The quill has a density of 4g/cm3 or less, and is made of, for example, silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramics or a composite material of a light metal and at least 40% by volume of ceramics.

    摘要: A camera has a back cover movable between a closed state and an open state to enable a film case to be installed in and removed from the camera. A detector detects the transition of the cover between the closed state and the open state. A data register stores control data, and a control circuit receives the control data from the data register for controlling operation of the camera. The control data is transferred temporarily from the data register to an EEPROM when the back cover makes the transition from the closed state to the open state. The control data is then transferred back from the EEPROM to the data register when the back cover makes the transition from the open state to the closed state. By temporarily storing the control data in an EEPROM when the back cover is open, and transferring the control data from the EEPROM back to the data register when the back cover is closed, the adverse effects of static electricity, external noise or resetting of the control circuit are prevented from disrupting the operation of the camera.

    摘要: A distance measuring device for an automatic focusing camera includes a light receiving lens and a multilayer printed circuit board mounted on a holder. A potting frame is provided on the lens-facing side surface of the printed circuit board. An optical sensor and an IC are both mounted within a space enclosed by the potting frame and simultaneously sealed by a protecting resin. Resistors and capacitors of a distance measuring circuit are mounted on the opposite surface of the printed circuit board. The two surfaces of the printed circuit board are connected to each other via a through hole to construct the distance measuring circuit. The protecting resin transmits light having specified wavelengths. The light reflected from a subject to be photographed is received by the optical sensor after passing through the protecting resin, and the distance to the subject is calculated on the basis of the received light data.

    摘要: In a power supply control circuit for a display of a camera, when an operation signal is input, a control circuit determines that an operation mode exists and activates a boosting circuit and a voltage dividing circuit. The control circuit activates a power supply switching circuit to switch the power supply for a display unit driving circuit to the output of the voltage dividing circuit. A control unit automatically controls the shutter operation and comprises an exposure quantity storage circuit for storing exposure quantity data corresponding to the brightness of a subject being photographed, a motor control data storage circuit for storing step drive number data proportional to the exposure quantity data and interpolation quantity data corresponding to the exposure quantity data, a pulse generator circuit for generating step drive pulses and clock pulses, a first presettable counter preset with the step drive number data before opening of the sector and downcounted to zero by the drive pulses, a second presettable counter preset with the interpolation quantity data and downcounted to zero by the clock pulses beginning at a time after the first counter has downcounted to zero, a reverse drive circuit for detecting when the second counter has counted down to zero and thereafter effecting rotation of the step motor in the reverse direction, and a motor drive circuit for rotationally driving the step motor according to the drive pulses generated by the pulse generator circuit means.
