    摘要： A vacuum pump is provided in which gas molecules in a vacuum chamber are sucked and exhausted by the rotational motion of a rotor rotatably supported in a pump case. At least one nickel alloy layer is disposed on a surface of at least one component defining a flow path in the vacuum pump for increasing a resistance of the component to corrosion due to a corrosive effect of a gas flowing through the flowpath. A nickel oxide is formed on a surface of the nickel alloy layer and has a higher emissivity than that of the nickel alloy layer for increasing a quantity of heat radiated from the surface of the component when the component is heated during operation of the vacuum pump.

The pressure adjuster adjusts a pressure applied by at least one of the upstream conveying roller pair and the downstream conveying roller pair to the sheet based on a detection result provided by the sheet condition detector.

    摘要： A vacuum pump has a pump case having a gas suction port at an upper part of the pump case and a gas exhaust port at a lower part of the pump case. A stator column extends from a base of the pump case and has an outer circumferential surface. A rotor shaft is rotatably supported in the pump case by the stator column. A spacer is removably integrally connected to the outer circumferential surface of the stator column. The spacer has an outer circumferential surface spaced apart from an inner circumferential surface of the rotor and a through-hole extending form the outer circumferential surface to an inner circumferential surface thereof. A connecting member extends through the through-hole of the spacer and contacts the outer circumferential surface of the stator column to thereby removably integrally connect the spacer to the outer circumferential surface of the stator column.

    摘要： A vacuum pump and a vacuum apparatus are provided in which gas suction and discharge force can be adjusted without producing dust. The vacuum apparatus includes a vacuum pump 1 for sucking and discharging gas within a chamber 90. The vacuum pump 1 is provided with a communicating pipe 85 that pierces the casing for communicating between the outside of the apparatus and the rotor blades and the stator blades of the turbomolecular pump section. An inert gas is supplied to the turbomolecular pump section through the communicating pipe 85 so that the inert gas is mixed with the gas that has sucked from the chamber 90. The communicating pipe 85 includes a valve 86, and an open/close operation of the valve 86 is controlled in accordance with an output from a pressure sensor 97 witnin the chamber 90. An amount of the inert to be supplied to the turbomolecular pump section T and then mixed, is adjusted by the valve 86 so that a pressure within the vacuum pump 1 is adjusted, with the result that a gas suction force from the chamber 90 can be adjusted.

    摘要： A vacuum pump comprises an inlet port into which a gas is introduced, an outlet port from which the gas is discharged, a stator, a motor, and a rotor opposing the stator and driven by the motor to undergo rotation to cooperate with the stator to force the gas from the inlet port to the outlet port. The rotor has a body, a spiral thread disposed on the body, and a thread groove disposed between adjacent lines of the spiral thread. An axial length of the spiral thread is shorter than an axial length of the rotor so that a terminal end portion of the spiral thread terminates short of an axial end of the rotor. The terminal end portion of the spiral thread slopes inward toward a surface portion of one of the thread grooves. A junction surface between a terminal end portion of the slope of the spiral thread and the surface portion of the thread groove forms a recessed portion.

    摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a sheet container accommodating a recording medium therein, a sheet separating feeder including a sheet feeding body and a sheet separating body, an image forming part, and a bend applier. The sheet feeding body feeds the recording medium along with a surface movement thereof while the recording medium contacting the surface thereof. The sheet separating body forms a sheet separation nip region with the sheet feeding body and sandwiches the recording medium in the sheet separation nip region. The sheet separating feeder separates and feeds the recording medium contacting the sheet feeding body. The image forming part forms an image on the recording medium. The bend applier having a leading end of an elastic material contacts and bends the recording medium before the sheet separation nip region and generates a wrinkle extending on the recording medium in a sheet conveying direction.
