    摘要: This invention provides a luminescent organic polymer metal complex represented by polyQ.M.Kn-1 (1) which is obtained by the reaction of a polymer ligand (polyQ) with an 8-hydroxyquinoline derivative introduced to its side chain through a spacer group, an 8-hydroxyquinoline derivative ligand (K) and a divalent to tetravalent metal ion (Mn+) wherein the 8-hydroxyquinoline derivative ligand (K) has a bulky substituent. A master cylinder apparatus comprises a master cylinder adapted to be connected to wheel cylinders through fail-safe valves, a stroke simulator for ensuring a desired stroke of a brake pedal upon receiving a brake fluid introduced from a fluid pressure chamber in the master cylinder through a simulator passage, and an opening/closing means for opening and closing the simulator passage. A stroke sensor for detecting a stroke of a primary piston is formed by a rotation angle detector, a sensor arm having one end connected to a rotary shaft of the rotation angle detector and a sensor pin extending from the primary piston. A linear motion of the primary piston is converted to a rotational motion through engagement between the sensor pin and the sensor arm and is transmitted to the rotation angle detector.

    摘要: The present invention provides a brake booster that, although simple in construction, capable of adjusting the braking force derived by operation of a solenoid mechanism without worsening the braking response. In the brake booster according to the present invention, when a movable member (34) is shifted toward the rear side by electromagnetic force of a solenoid (31), the shifting movement is transmitted to a valve seat member (21) through pins (50) to open an atmospheric valve (27) through which air is introduced into a variable pressure chamber (9,10), whereby a pressure difference is created between the variable pressure chamber and a constant pressure chamber and generates booster output (thrust output force). In the present invention, pressure in the constant pressure chamber is introduced into a chamber (54) formed at one end of the movable member (34) through a passage (56), and atmosphere is introduced into a chamber (55) formed at the other end of the movable member (34) through a passage (57), thereby exerting on the movable member (34) a reaction force caused by the pressure difference between the variable pressure chamber and the constant pressure chamber. Thus, the booster output becomes proportional to the electric current supplied to the solenoid (31). Further in the present invention, the size of the passage (57) is determined properly so as to limit air introduced therethrough into the chamber (54) and keep the reaction force small until the booster output reaches an adequately level, thereby preventing the breaking response from deteriorating.

    摘要: A braking device for use in a motor vehicle has a vacuum motor having a casing, a power piston displaceably mounted in the casing through a diaphragm which partitions the interior of the casing into a constant pressure chamber and a variable pressure chamber and which is adapted to be displaced by the pressure difference between the two chambers. A input rod of the braking device is connected to the brake pedal. A valve mechanism is disposed in the power piston and controls the pressure in the variable pressure chamber in response to force applied to the input rod. A control valve is connected to the vacuum motor and adapted to be electrically controlled by a controller to selectively supply driving pressure to the vacuum motor. A manual actuator is provided for controlling the controller in response to operation of the actuator or a force applied to the actuator, and a sensor is provided for detecting the amount by which the actuator is moved or the amount of force applied to the actuator and for sensing an output corresponding to the amount detected by the sensor to the controller. The controller determines whether the amount detected by the sensor is on an increasing gradient or a decreasing gradient and controls the current to be supplied to the control valve in such a manner that the current changes along a hysteresis loop to minimize the hysteresis of the braking force to be generated.

A controller includes a deceleration calculating circuit reading vehicle speed for every specified number of seconds and calculating the amount of deceleration. The deceleration is compared with a predetermined value and braking force is increased, maintained, or decreased depending on whether the vehicle is running on a downwardly sloping, level, or unwardly sloping road.
