Abstract:
A manufacturing method of a thin film transistor, wherein a laminated body consisting of an intrinsic amorphous silicon layer and a conductive amorphous silicon layer is formed on a glass substrate, and annealed at low temperatures not higher than 600.degree. C. thereby obtaining a polycrystalline silicon film. The conductive amorphous silicon layer gives girth to a core for polycrystallization, and therefore the intrinsic amorphous silicon layer is easily recrystallized by annealing at low temperatures.
Abstract:
A hydraulic braking system capable of reducing the brake pedal stroke is provided by adding to the basic hydraulic braking system. The adding system is able to selectively execute the reduction of brake pedal stroke and, at the same time, capable of selectively adding anti-lock function and anti-slip function by including the changeover valves or opening and closing valves to the system. An auxiliary hydraulic pressure generator having a power hydraulic pressure source and regulator is interposed in the hydraulic conduit of at least one circuit, and an outlet port of the regulator is communicated to the wheel cylinders for connecting to the hydraulic conduit of the circuit. Brake pedal stroke can be reduced by inclusion of other conduit arrangements for adding the auxiliary hydraulic pressure generator and, at the same time, the changeover valve, anti-lock control changeover valve, and normally closed valve are selectively releasably added or mounted to the system, so that a brake system having short brake pedal stroke and sporty feeling can be obtained by low cost system ensuring desired braking operation. Additionally, anti-slip control for preventing the slipping of driving wheels can be added.

Abstract:
A humidity control system (10) includes a refrigerant circuit (50) in which an adsorption heat exchanger (51, 52) carrying an adsorbent thereon is connected. During a regeneration action of a humidification operation of the humidity control system (10), outdoor air passes through the adsorption heat exchanger (51, 52) from upstream towards downstream in the flow of refrigerant. Therefore, the air can be effectively increased in temperature at the air inflow end of the adsorption heat exchanger (51, 52), thereby preventing freezing of dew condensation water.

Abstract:
A refrigerant circuit (10) is provided with two adsorption heat exchangers (31, 32) in addition to an outdoor heat exchanger (21) and an indoor heat exchanger (22). An adsorbent is carried on the surface of each of the adsorption heat exchangers (31, 32). In the adsorption heat exchanger (31, 32) serving as an evaporator, moisture in the air is adsorbed by the adsorbent. In the adsorption heat exchanger (31, 32) serving as a condenser, moisture is desorbed from the adsorbent and then applied to the air. Then, the air dehumidified or humidified by the adsorption heat exchanger (31, 32) is supplied to a room to cope with latent heat load in the room. On the other hand, in the indoor heat exchanger (22), air is cooled or heated. Then, the air cooled or heated by the indoor heat exchanger (22) is supplied to the room to cope with sensible heat load in the room.
Abstract:
An air conditioner has a heat exchanger, an absorbing agent, and a controller. The absorbing agent performs an absorbing operation for absorbing moisture in passing air flowing through the heat exchanger functioning as an evaporator and a regenerating operation for desorbing moisture from passing air heated by the heat exchanger functioning as a condenser. The controller performs control such that the absorbing operation and the regenerating operation are switched at a predetermined switching time interval. The controller also performs control of a capacity of a compressor and control for changing the predetermined switching time interval such that a predetermined load out of a total heat load, which is the sum of the latent heat load and the sensible heat load, is preferentially processed.
Abstract:
A vibration-function-equipped control input system includes: a display panel capable of displaying a control screen; a touch panel; a pressure-position detector; a vibration section that generates vibration to apply to the touch panel; and a controller operatively connected to the display panel, the touch panel, the pressure-position detector, and the vibration section. The controller directs the vibration section to generate a vibration of a first vibration pattern when a predetermined time has passed after the part of the touch panel corresponding to the position of a control key displayed on the control screen is pushed, and subsequently directs the vibration section to generate a vibration of a second vibration pattern when a change of a control object controlled by the control key is detected after the predetermined time has passed.

Abstract:
A transporter is adapted to transport a sheet in a first direction. At least three detectors are disposed at a downstream side of the transporter in the first direction. Each of the detectors is operable to detect passing time of a leading end edge of the sheet. A processor is operable to calculate: a first angle of the sheet with respect to the first direction based on a first difference of the passing time detected by first two of the detectors and a first distance between the first two of the detectors; and a second angle of the sheet with respect to the first direction based on a second difference of the passing time detected by second two of the detectors and a second distance between the second two of the detectors, and operable to detect a jam in case that a value of an angular difference between the first angle and the second angle is larger than a prescribed value.
