Abstract:
The invention provides a chair-type massage machine comprising a backrest and a seat which can be reclined by a single drive source while permitting the user to hold a relaxed posture. The chair-type massage machine comprises a backrest (20) for the back of the user to bear on, a seat (30) for the user to sit in, and a reclining mechanism (40) for pivotally moving the backrest (20) and the seat (30). The reclining mechanism (40) comprises a single drive source (42), the drive source being coupled to the backrest (20) and the seat (30) by a link assembly (50). The link assembly is operable to pivotally move the backrest (20) from a raised position to a reclined position via an intermediate position by operating the drive source (42), the seat (30) being tiltable to raise a front end thereof when the backrest is pivotally moved from the raised position to the intermediate position, the seat being tiltable to lower the raised front end thereof when the backrest is pivotally moved from the intermediate position to the reclined position.
Abstract:
A method and system that control delivery of start-up fuel to an engine, in one form includes clocking a first predetermined period of time. The method includes allowing start-up fuel to be supplied to the engine during at least some of the first predetermined period of time. The method also includes clocking a second predetermined period of time that comes after the first predetermined period of time. And the method includes not allowing start-up fuel to be supplied to the engine when the second predetermined period of time is clocking. In another form, the system includes a carburetor and a control unit.

Abstract:
An operating method of a storage area network system which conducts transmittance of data by a plurality of servers accessing a storage through a storage area network, the storage area network system operating: obtaining and monitoring a data transfer amount between the respective servers and the storage; comparing a prescribed data transfer amount prescribed by the server and the obtained actual data transfer amount; selecting one of a plurality of ports provided in the storage according to the comparison result; and providing the relevant server an instruction to connect to the selected port.
Abstract:
Coded data are inputted from a stream analyzing unit to an entropy decoding unit. A group of peripheral information registers stores peripheral information on a target pixel for estimating a context used for arithmetic decoding of the coded data. Based on the peripheral information stored in the group of peripheral registers, a context estimation unit estimates a context and delivers the estimated context to an arithmetic decoding unit. The arithmetic decoding unit decodes the coded data based on a context label, then derives a decision and supplies the decision to an inverse quantization unit. The peripheral information stored in the group of peripheral registers is updated by a decoding result of the arithmetic decoding unit in the same cycle as the decoding.

Abstract:
A process for preparing an ocular lens material having hydrophilic surface, characterized by comprising the steps of (1) irradiating the surface of an ocular lens material with high-frequency plasma or excimer ultarviolet-ray; (2) contacting the surface of the ocular lens material, which is treated in accordance with the step (1), with a hydrophilic monomer-mixture solution containing at least one zwitterionic group-containing compoud; and (3) irradiating the surface of the ocular lens material, which is in the state of contacting with the hydrophilic monomer-mixture solution in the step (2), with ultraviolet-ray having a wavelength of 250 to 500 nm and then, graft polymerizing the zwitterionic group-containing compound to the surface of the ocular lens material and then, forming a surface layer; and an ocular lens material having hydrophilic surface prepared by the process.
