摘要： A plurality of picture image data obtained from a film in one film handling operation by a film scanner with the automatic film feeding function are output as prints by a digital printer and also as files in a recording medium by a file outputting device. In the system for providing the above two kinds of output services, the numbers of film scanners, file outputting devices, and digital printers are determined so that the processing performance of each kind of apparatus in a unit time times the number of each kind of apparatus is almost the same, to make each kind of apparatus comprising the system demonstrate its full performance. A medium image obtaining device for obtaining an image file recorded in a medium and a digital camera image obtaining device may further be provided so that the above two outputting services are promptly provided for a picture image such as a processed image recorded in a medium and brought into a service provider by a customer and a picture image recorded by a digital camera, whereby one system can carry out film reading, image obtaining from a medium or a digital camera, picture print generation, and writing a picture image in a recording medium.

摘要： In a photosensitive material processing apparatus, a photosensitive material taking on the form of a long strip is fed into a conveyance mechanism and conveyed in this form along a predetermined conveyance path. An exposure device, a reservoir section, a development processing section, and a cutter are located in the conveyance path. The exposure device carries out scanning exposing operations on the long strip of the photosensitive material and thereby forms latent images on the long strip of the photosensitive material. In the reservoir section, a looped portion for serving as a buffer for conveyance is formed in the long strip of the photosensitive material, on which the latent images have been formed. In the development processing section, development processing is carried out on the long strip of the photosensitive material, which is fed via the reservoir section. The cutter cuts the long strip of the photosensitive material, which has been subjected to the development processing, into sheets having a predetermined length.

摘要： In a photographic film cassette, rotation of a spool in a direction of unwinding a photographic film causes a film leader to advance to an outside of a cassette shell. An exposed film is drawn out of the cassette shell after advancing the film leader for developing the exposed film in a state with a film trailer attached to the spool so as to keep the cassette shell reusable. The exposed film is wound up into the cassette shell after development. After development, the spool is rotated in the unwinding direction in a printer in order to advance the film leader outward such that the exposed film can then be drawn out of the cassette shell frame by frame for subjecting the developed film to printing in a state with the film trailer attached to the spool. Thereafter, the spool is rotated in a direction of winding up the developed film for containing the exposed film in the cassette shell.

摘要： A video signal from an input unit is supplied to first and second low-pass filters. A selector picks up a video signal which has passed through the first low-pass filter if a single frame image is to be printed, and picks up a video signal which has passed through the second low-pass filter if a multifreeze image is to be printed. The picked-up video signal is sampled and quantized by an A/D converter and stored in a first memory. The video signal in the first memory is read out to print a signal frame image. To print a multifreeze image, the video signal stored in the first memory is thinned to reduce the size of an image and thereafter is stored in a second memory having a larger capacity than that of the first memory. A plurality of frames are inlaid within one frame at the second memory. Thereafter, the video signal in the second memory is read out to print a multifreeze image.

摘要： An image recording apparatus includes an image processor for achieving an image processing on an input video signal, a recorder for recording on a photosensitive material an image represented by the video signal processed by the image processor, a display for displaying an image represented by the video signal processed by the image processor, a storage for storing a first image processing parameter determined according to a sensitivity characteristic of the photosensitive material and a second image processing parameter determined according to a display characteristic of the display, an input device for entering an instruction, and a controller responsive to the input device for controlling the image processor, the recorder, the display, and the storage. The controller sets values of the second image processing parameter in the image processor to cause the display to display an image, and also sets in the image processor values of the first image processing parameter related with a predetermined relationship to the second image processing parameter set in the image processor, thereby causing the recorder to conduct a recording operation on the photosensitive material.

摘要： When a photographic film is to be printed, it is necessary to remove such defocused photographic images which are caused by improper focusing. In this invention, transmittivity or transmission density of an image recorded on photographic film is measured consecutively by scanning it with two photometric systems having different measuring areas, and a defocused photographic image is detected from the relation between the measured distribution of the difference between two measured values in the transmittivity and the contrast values which is obtained by totalling local contrasts measured all over the photographic film.

When the densities fall within a predetermined ellipsoid in a three-dimensional chromaticity coordinate system the axes of which respectively represent the red, green and blue densities, the color is defined to be of the particular color. The normalized densities are put into said formula and dS.sup.2 for each of the measured points is calculated by a computing circuit. The calculated dS.sup.2 is compared with a predetermined constant K by a comparator. When the calculated dS.sup.2 is not larger than the constant K, the measured point is determined to be of the particular color.
