摘要： A wet type image forming apparatus having a developing solution container a preparatory developing solution container, which is adapted to store developing solution to be supplied to the developing solution container, and an attachment unit to which the preparatory developing solution container is attached, is provided. The preparatory developing solution container includes a coupling portion removably coupled to the attachment unit, a developing solution path being formed in the coupling portion to allow the developing solution to flow therein, a blocking system blocking the developing solution path, and a stirring unit stirring the developing solution in the preparatory developing solution container. The attachment unit includes a releasing system to open the developing solution path blocked by the blocking system when the coupling portion of the preparatory developing solution container is coupled to the attachment unit.

摘要： According to a first aspect of the present invention, an objective function is defined for minimizing a number of candidate tree graphs for accommodating the communication paths and a first constraint equation is defined for causing all of the candidate tree graphs to form a tree. A second constraint equation is defined for accommodating the communication paths in one of the candidate tree graphs. A third constraint equation is defined for determining whether each of the candidate tree graphs is used to accommodate the communication paths. A mathematical programming problem formed by the objective function, and the first, second and third constraint equations is solved to obtain a plurality of trees in which the communication paths can be accommodated.

摘要： Disclosed is a recording apparatus that helps to achieve a reduction in size and cost. The recording apparatus has a U-turn sheet feeding mechanism for reversing and feeding a recording medium and a duplex transport mechanism for reversing the recording medium and performing printing on both sides thereof, in which the same transport path serves as a transport path for transporting the recording medium from a U-turn sheet feeding roller to a main transport roller for transporting the recording medium to a printing portion and as a transport path for reversal in duplex transport. Further, a transport roller provided in the transport path from the U-turn sheet feeding roller to the main transport roller for transporting the recording medium to the printing portion is the same as a transport roller for duplex transport. A single transport roller serves both as the U-turn transport roller and as the duplex transport roller.

摘要： When torque of a DC motor is dropped down to zero at a stop position, force is generated by deformation of a member for transmitting the torque of the DC motor. The force moves the driven body which is in the stopped state, which results in a shift of the driven body from the stop position. Therefore, a process for stopping the driven body is performed according to the amount of shift by an encoder which periodically outputs a pulse signal according to movement of the driven body, a unit for acquiring velocity information and position information of the driven body based on the pulse signal, a controlling unit for controlling a moving unit based on the velocity information and the position information, and a unit for calculating the amount of shift, which is caused by the force generated by the deformation of the member for transmitting the torque, at the stop position of the driven body.

The ink housing section 211 is configured to rotationally move around a rotational moving shaft 212e so as to be opened and closed relative to the printing media housing section 210. On the other hand, the printing media housing section 210 has an opening 215 formed in a lower part thereof and in which part of housed printing media appears, thereby enabling the pack to come into contact with a sheet feeding roller of the printer when the pack is installed in a printer. Additionally, while not installed in the printer, the pack is covered with the opening and closing ink housing section 211, thereby enabling the printing media to be protected from dusts or the like.

摘要： An inexpensive ejection recovery device for an ink jet printing apparatus is provided which can simultaneously perform suction-based recovery operations using a single cap while preventing different kinds of ink from getting mixed in the print head. For this purpose, the ejection recovery device of the invention has a cap to cover a plurality of ejection ports formed in the print head and a pump connected to an exhaust port formed in the cap to generate a predetermined pressure. The cap is formed with a plurality of suction ports and with a plurality of paths connecting each of the suction ports and the exhaust port. Flow resistances of the paths from each of the suction ports to the exhaust port are set equal.
