摘要: The present invention provides an image processing system, which can reduce calculation time by alleviating a calculation load in assessing the occurrence of tampering of an image. For example, the image processing system of the present invention first identifies a type of a form of an image to be assessed in assessing the occurrence of tampering. Next, a characteristic amount of a certain region (flexible region) corresponding to the identified type of a form is extracted as a characteristic amount of the image to be assessed. Then, the extracted characteristic amount of image to be assessed and the characteristic amount extracted from a certain region in an original image are compared and the compared result is notified as the assessment result. A flexible region, to which a user writes, is preferably specified as said certain region.

摘要: A receiving device comprises a signal demodulator circuit for demodulating an encrypted video signal and attribute information including information for decoding an encryption, an attribute information identifying circuit for identifying and outputting the attribute information, and a descramble circuit for unscrambling the video signal obtained from the signal demodulator circuit, based on the output produced from the attribute information identifying circuit. A signal re-scrambled in accordance with a device ID signal is recorded in a recording and reproducing device. Further, the recording of the signal is controlled based on the output obtained from the attribute information identifying circuit.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes an array substrate having a plurality of pixel electrodes in a matrix form, a counter substrate having a counter electrode opposed to the pixel electrodes, a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules disposed between the array and counter substrate, a first and second alignment layers, the first alignment layer disposed between the array substrate and the liquid crystal layer, the second alignment layer disposed between the counter substrate and the liquid crystal layer, and each of which are treated so as to give a predetermined pre-tilt angle to the liquid crystal molecules, and a shield electrode disposed a region applied a lateral electric field which is against to a direction of the pre-tilt angle. A potential difference between the shield electrode and the counter electrode is adjusted to a first potential difference during a first period, and the potential difference between the shield electrode and the counter electrode is adjusted to a second potential difference, which is smaller than the first potential difference, during a second period continuing after the first period so as to apply an alternating current voltage between the counter electrode and the shield electrode.
