摘要: A belt drive continuously variable transmission of a four-wheel motor vehicle has a transmission ratio control valve which is operated in accordance with driven pulley speed. An analogous driven-pulley speed is calculated based on an analogous vehicle speed approximate to actual vehicle speed. In response to the analogous driven-pulley speed, the analogous driven pulley speed is used for operating the transmission ratio control valve instead of the driven pulley speed.

摘要: A power transmitting system has a belt drive continuously variable transmission for transmitting power of an engine to wheels of a motor vehicle through a torque converter with a lockup clutch. The transmission comprises a primary pulley connected to an output member of the torque converter, a secondary pulley operatively connected to the wheels, a primary cylinder and a secondary cylinder for changing effective diameters of both pulleys, a secondary pressure control valve for controlling secondary pressure applied to the secondary cylinder. Vehicle driving conditions for engaging and disengaging the lockup clutch are detected for producing an engagement or a disengagement signal. In response to the engagement signal, the locked up clutch is locked and the secondary pressure is reduced after a predetermined delay time. In response to the disengagement signal, the secondary pressure is increased and the lockup clutch is disengaged after a predetermined delay time.

摘要: A method for forming an as-cast hole by using a core involves forming an undercut and casting by using a core die which is slidable at an angle with respect to mold closing and opening directions. At the same time, an as-cast hole with an axial direction different from the slide direction of the core die is formed. To form the as-cast hole, a floating core is slidably disposed in the core die for movement in the axial direction of the as-cast hole. An apparatus for practicing the method includes a stationary die, a movable die and the core die containing the slidable floating core.

摘要: An insulating magnetic toner useful as a one component developer for electro-photography consisting essentially of a ferro-magnetic material, a resin and a charge controlling agent. The preferred toner mixture has an average particle size in the range from about 7 to about 30 .mu.m and is substantially free of particles having a size smaller than 1 .mu.m. The toner is preferably prepared by mixing a ferromagnetic material, a resin and a charge controlling agent, heat kneading, cooling and then granulating the mixture to form fine particles, contacting the pacticles with a hot gas of a temperature higher than the toner softening point and lower than 500.degree. C to fuse particles smaller than about 1 .mu.m to larger particles, cooling and selecting the particles of an average particle size of about 7 to about 30 .mu.m.

摘要: To provide an improved solderability for mounting an electronic component onto a circuit board, a package of an electronic component (1) is formed by bonding together a base (3) made of glass and a lid (2). Outer electrodes (8) and (18) are formed on a bottom surface of the base (3), and the outer electrodes (8) and (18) are respectively connected to through electrodes (7) and (17). The outer electrodes (8) and (18) each have a laminated structure of three CrAu layers, that is, from a Cr layer (first layer) to an Au layer (sixth layer). When the outer electrodes (8) and (18) are soldered onto a circuit board, the Au layers as the second, fourth, and sixth layers are dissolved into solder, whereas the Cr layers as the third and fifth layers, which hardly form an intermetallic compound with solder, are separated to remain in solder.

摘要: A semiconductor device having good TFT characteristics is realized. By using a high purity target as a target, using a single gas, argon (Ar), as a sputtering gas, setting the substrate temperature equal to or less than 300° C., and setting the sputtering gas pressure from 1.0 Pa to 3.0 Pa, the film stress of a film is made from −1×1010 dyn/cm2 to 1×1010 dyn/cm2. By thus using a conducting film in which the amount of sodium contained within the film is equal to or less than 0.3 ppm, preferably equal to or less than 0.1 ppm, and having a low electrical resistivity (equal to or less than 40 μΩ·cm), as a gate wiring material and a material for other wirings of a TFT, the operating performance and the reliability of a semiconductor device provided with the TFT can be increased.
