Abstract:
A foamer pump for dispensing foam has a simple construction and utilizes a single piston to reduce the volume of both a fluid chamber and an air chamber. A portion of the actuating mechanism helps to unseat a check valve at the outlet of the fluid chamber. The foamer pump has a fluid chamber, and an outlet of the fluid chamber is connected to a mixing chamber. An air chamber has an air channel that connects the air chamber to ambient air in a first position and to the mixing chamber in a second position. A piston causes the volume of the air chamber and the liquid chamber each to be reduced, forcing air from the air chamber and foamable fluid from the liquid chamber into the mixing chamber where they blend to form an air/liquid mixture.
Abstract:
A spray head assembly includes a tubular cylinder having a separation board transversely connected therein and a through hole is defined centrally through the separation board. A space is defined in the cylinder and communicates with the through hole. A check valve is located in the space and has a check rod which extends through the through hole. A piston rod is located in the cylinder and a spring is mounted to the piston rod. A cover is connected to the cylinder and a locking member. The piston rod extends through the locking member. A push tube extends through the locking member and communicates with the cylinder. A movable member is located in the push tube which is connected to a press head. A nozzle extends outward from the press head. The spray head is water-proof and the amount liquid remained in the nozzle can be sucked back after use.
Abstract:
A dispenser for dispensing liquid to pasty compositions, has a dispensing head, which has a dispensing mouth, and with a reservoir and a dispenser head part. The dispensing head is movable relative to the dispenser head part from a dispensing stand-by position to a lowered position and vice versa. In order to design and develop a dispenser in such a way that the dispensing mouth is oriented without relative rotation or without at least substantial relative rotation with respect to the dispenser sleeve part when the dispensing head is extended, the dispenser head part moves the dispensing head in and out only axially.
Abstract:
A dispensing apparatus for containing a pressurized composition, said dispensing apparatus comprising: a reservoir for containing a composition; an actuator head comprising a side wall having an interior surface, said actuator head forming a dispensing orifice through said side wall; a displaceable flow conduit comprising a proximal end in fluid communication with said reservoir and a distal end forming a flow conduit orifice, said distal end being movably engaged with said interior surface of said actuator head; and an intermediate member interposed between said interior surface and said distal end and forming an aperture; and wherein said displaceable flow conduit is biased to an at-rest position and can be movably actuated to at least partially engage said intermediate member in a dispense position, thereby at least partially aligning said dispensing orifice with said flow conduit orifice.
Abstract:
A nozzle opening/shutting device of an airless type cosmetics vessel, in which a nozzle actuation button is installed between a nozzle housing and a stem, and a cam guide actuation unit is provided such that the cam guide actuation unit can guide a guide groove of a plunger upward and downward and can move the plunger forward and backward in a nozzle pipe by a cam operation, thereby opening and shutting the nozzle. This invention can move the plunger by a cam mechanism instead of a conventional spring mechanism, thereby preventing a misoperation and realizing a precise nozzle opening/shutting operation. The plunger is inserted in the nozzle such that a plunger end protrudes outside the nozzle and comes into close surface contact with the inlet of the nozzle, thereby preventing air introduction into the nozzle and preventing oxidation of the contents, and maintaining the quality of the contents constantly.
Abstract:
A pump-type cosmetics container is not subject to the risk of a foreign substance entering into a nozzle, due to a moving path through which content is discharged during use that is selectively open by means of an opening/closing bracket, and to the risk of change in quality of the content inside the moving path, by means of a counteraction of a control protrusion pressing a locking protrusion thereby re-aspirating the content remaining inside the moving path, after pumping using a double spring.
Abstract:
A dispensing device for dispensing compressed fluid from a can through a valve stem of the can has a hollow tube with a channel extending through it from an entrance end to an opposing dispensing end, a connector defining a conduit therethrough that is in fluid communication with the channel of the hollow tube and that attaches to a valve stem of a can, a plug located within the channel of the hollow tube that forms a sealing configuration within the channel when pressed towards the dispensing end of the channel, and a sleeve that wraps at least partially around the hollow tube and that has a protrusion that upon activating the sleeve extends through the dispensing end of the hollow tube and prevents the plug from establishing a sealing configuration with the hollow tube.
Abstract:
A method of operating a dispensing unit includes the step of providing a power source to a dispensing unit that includes a housing having at least two aerosol containers disposed therein and an actuator arm. The dispensing unit activates in response to a minimum threshold of light being sensed by a light sensor. The method also includes the step of selecting a sleep period interval between spray operations.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a dispenser (1) for liquid to pasty substances, having a pumping chamber (9) and a dispensing tube (6), the dispensing tube (6) being moved between a rest position and a dispensing position during a pumping movement (P), and in the rest position a dispensing opening (5) of the dispensing tube (6) being covered by a covering part (21) connected to the dispenser (1). In order to form a dispenser of this type which can be easily actuated in an advantageous manner, it is proposed that, in the course of actuating the pump, at least part of the dispensing tube (6) is moved in a direction perpendicular to the pumping movement (P) while traversing the path of movement of the covering part (21), which at the same time is moved relative to the dispensing tube (6). In a further independent solution, it is provided that the covering part (21) is inwardly offset with respect to a dispenser wall part (7), that a window-like opening (8) associated with the covering part (21) is formed in the dispenser wall part (7), that in the rest position the covering part (21) is aligned with the opening (8), and that in the dispensing position the covering part (21) at least partially uncovers the opening (8) and at least part of the dispensing tube (6) is exposed in the opening (8) in order to discharge substance through the opening (8).
