Abstract:
A novel pet care device for walking a dog is provided. The device integrates many pet care items that are necessary while walking a dog into a unitary device that is simple to operate and provides a new convenience to the dog owner. In certain embodiments, the device includes an integrated retractable leash, a flashlight, fluid spraying to dispose of pet waste, a source of fresh drinking water, and a water bowl from which a dog may drink the water.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing device comprises a housing body, a reciprocating piston fluid pump, a primary drive element, a wobble assembly and a spray tip. The reciprocating piston fluid pump has a piston disposed within a pumping chamber inside the housing body. The primary drive element is coupled to the housing body to provide a rotary input. The wobble assembly connects the primary drive element to the reciprocating piston fluid pump to convert the rotary input into reciprocating input to the piston. The spray tip connects to an outlet of the pumping chamber.
Abstract:
A portable spray wash apparatus is self contained with a spray-wash head attached to an end of a wand having a grip handle at the other end. The grip handle is connected to one end of a flexible tube, the other end of the flexible tube being connected to a connection tap located at a lower portion of a fluid container. The apparatus achieves self-contained, light-weight portability for a convenient spray washing, regardless of the location, weather and/or other environmental constraints. It conserves water, and may be in-container mixed with a proper fluid mixture for environmentally friendly and socially responsible upkeep of vehicle appearance through all weather conditions.
Abstract:
A garden sprayer for dispensing pressurized liquids has a pressure vessel mounted within a liquid reservoir container. The pressure vessel carries a diaphragm pump which is detachable as a complete unit and which extends from the container for connection to a pivoted actuating lever that is fulcrumed on the container. The diaphragm, which is directly driven by the pivoted lever, is guided in position and orientation by a guide piston fixed to the diaphragm and slidably guided within the pumping chamber. A pair of input and output check valves, mounted at the end of the pump, permit liquid from the container to be drawn into the pumping chamber and to be forced from the pumping chamber into the pressure vessel. A manually controlled valve on a spray nozzle, which is connected to the pressure vessel, controls pressurized discharge of liquid.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing device includes a housing and a reciprocating piston fluid pump coupled to the housing. The reciprocating piston fluid pump includes a piston. The piston is configured to pressurize at least one pumping chamber. A motor is connected to the reciprocating piston fluid pump to actuate the piston. A spray tip connected to an outlet of the at least one pumping chamber.
Abstract:
A portable, battery-powered liquid sprayer is operable to eject liquids. The sprayer includes a power unit including a base having a motor housed therein. The sprayer further includes a sprayer tank including a reservoir, an outlet fluidly connected with the reservoir, and a pump fluidly connected with the reservoir and the outlet. The sprayer tank is configured for selective engagement with the power unit. When the sprayer tank engages the power unit, the motor is operable to selectively drive the pump to pump liquid from the reservoir for ejection through the outlet.
Abstract:
A portable fluid dispensing apparatus has a reservoir, a dispenser, and a pump for pressurizing the fluid in the reservoir. The dispenser may be a spray wand. The pump is a hands-free pump such that an operator can hold a dog with one hand, the spray wand with the other hand, and yet still operate the pump, as by using a foot pedal. The apparatus is self-contained, such that there is no need for an external water or electrical power hook-up.
Abstract:
To assist the filtering from a tank into the inlet port of the pressure chamber of a sprayer, an additional pumping structure is attached to the pumping mechanism of the sprayer. A hose extends into the tank of the sprayer and draws fluid from the tank into the additional pumping structure. Fluid is pumped from the additional pumping structure via the hose to provide a jet of fluid upon a filter over the inlet port. The jet of fluid flushes the filter and retards the accumulation of debris thereon, thereby retarding the clogging of the filter.
Abstract:
A backpack sprayer having a tank with a filling opening at the top thereof and a pressure chamber therein is provided with filtering apparatus for preventing particles in the fluid in the tank from entering an inlet port of the pressure chamber when suction generated by a pump causes fluid in the tank to flow through the inlet port into the pressure chamber. Pressurized fluid can flow through an outlet port from the pressure chamber to a nozzle, via a hose in communication with the outlet port. The filtering apparatus is provided by a filter in a frame removably captured in a fixture projecting outwardly from the outside of the pressure chamber on opposite sides of the inlet port. A handle extends from the frame upwardly along the outside of the pressure chamber a sufficient distance to be accessed manually by an operator through the filling opening of the tank.
