Abstract:
A closure comprising a solid colour spout and a transparent overcap is adapted to be sealed to a container neck by means of a double-sided foil. The overcap has a depending valve, which engages with the spout to hold these components together prior to assembly to the container. The spout has a flange adapted to seat on a rim of the container neck and an annular wall that is received within the container neck. The foil is welded to the flange and is also used to weld the closure to a rim of a container neck of standard threaded design. The overcap can screw to an external thread on the container neck. The primary ex-factory seal is provided by welding the assembled closure to the neck. The secondary seal is provided by the engagement of the overcap valve with the spout. The invention discloses an improved method of assembly.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for securing a pallet, crate, or similar shipping containers against pilferage is disclosed. This seals is from now on referred to as a Pallet Seal. A pallet seals is comprised of one or more parts, having one or more locking devices. The seal can be secured against the clip on the pallet banding, completely covering and protecting the clip from tampering. The seal can have specific seal number and marking, color, or other features that makes it almost impossible to duplicate. Further the seal can have the capability to include RFID tags, Bar Code, and or custom marking and can be applied to the banding clips without a use of any tool or secondary seal or number.
Abstract:
A resealable package integrity closure includes a film layer forming a top of a container and a flap defining an access opening. A sealing panel completely covers the flap of the film layer. A releasable adhesive is provided on either or both the film layer and the sealing panel for adhering the sealing panel to the film layer. The sealing panel is releasable from the film layer by pulling the sealing panel back in a peeling direction and reclosable against the top to seal the access opening when the sealing panel is moved back against the top. A coating of transferable material is provided on either the sealing panel or on the film layer, which is transferable therebetween to provide a visual indication that the closure has been previously opened.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a container (1), especially a bucket or similar, comprising an opening, which is orientated upwards and which can be closed by a cover (3), and a peripheral container edge (2), which is drawn outwards in a downward direction on the container wall (5), where the cover (3) is detachably connected thereto and whereon at least one tongue-like element (8) is connected in such a way that at least one part of the cover (3) is raised due to a pivoting movement away from a starting position on the container wall (5). According to the invention, the tongue-like element (8) engages with the container edge (2) from behind with part of said tongue-like element which can be guided outwards by the pivoting movement to a position in front of the container wall (2) and the part of said tongue-like element is prevented from being guided behind the container edge (2) when the tongue-like element (8) pivots back in the direction of the initial position.
Abstract:
A packaging device for a cosmetic product includes at least one container forming at least one compartment in which the cosmetic product is directly or indirectly placed. The packaging device includes at least one authentication element incorporating at least one first chemical reagent capable, when placed in contact with a second chemical reagent present on a counterpart authentication element, of producing a detectable change in the second reagent on the counterpart authentication element. A counterfeit detection kit includes the packaging device, and a non-destructive process detects a possible counterfeit packaging device for a cosmetic product.
Abstract:
A method for dispensing a liquid includes providing a container having a top, a bottom, a first opening at the top and a second opening proximal the bottom; providing a liquid dispensing bag including a flexible pouch having a top, a bottom, and first and second panels, the first and second panels defining an interior and a first opening to the interior at the bag top, wherein at least one of the first and second panels defines a second opening to the interior near the bag bottom, and wherein the bag further includes liquid dispensing apparatus including a tube connected to the pouch to permit a controlled flow of liquid from the second opening of the pouch, and wherein the first and second panels are connected together at the pouch top to releasably close the first pouch opening. The first pouch opening is opening by separating the first and second panels from each other at the top of the pouch, and the bag is positioned in the container with the tube extending out through the second opening of the container. Liquid is inserted into the bag interior, and liquid dispensing apparatus is actuated to selectively release the liquid out through the tube.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a biodegradable packaging material useable for indicating the expiration of the shelf-life of the goods enclosed therein. For example, the packaging material of the present invention is used to enclose perishable foods, medicines, medical devices, medical instruments, medical implant, or other such limited shelf-life goods.

Abstract:
A metal can for holding a carbonated or otherwise pressurized beverage or the like, having a rigid metal lid formed with an aperture, and a flexible closure member extending over the aperture and peelably bonded to the lid, the closure member including a portion that undergoes an irreversible change in appearance upon bending and is disposed to be bent by peeling of the closure.
Abstract:
An anti-counterfeiting device for application to or association with consumer goods to give an indication of authenticity comprises: a substrate (10); a latent image (11) formed on the substrate that becomes visible upon exposure to oxygen; an oxygen-impermeable layer (12) covering the latent image, and means to break the oxygen-impermeable layer. The latent image is preferably formed by printing an oxygen-sensitive colouring material on to the substrate.
