    摘要: An improved plastic-cladding filament structure includes a combined arrangement of a base layer, thermosetting polymer glue, and at least one conductive filament. The thermosetting polymer glue is combined with the base layer. The at least one conductive filament is enclosed and housed in the thermosetting polymer glue to allow the conductive filament to be attached to the base layer through heating and setting of the thermosetting polymer glue. By means of the property the thermosetting polymer glue that the thermosetting polymer glue gets set after being heated to a predetermined temperature and melted and shaped and once heated to get set and shaped, further heating does not change the shape, the thermosetting polymer glue that encloses and houses the conductive filament can be set to form any desired shape to facilitate combination thereof with the base layer.

    摘要: The invention discloses a flexible flat cable and the manufacturing method thereof. The Flexible flat cable is manufactured by the following steps of: forming a metal layer on an insulated base layer, then forming a protective layer on the metal layer which had been formed above the insulated base layer, to make the metal layer be covered between the insulated base layer and the protective layer for forming a composite shelter, then preparing a conducting layer and an insulated substrate, and then spreading an insulated glue layer on the bottom of the composite shelter and then combining the composite shelter, the conducting layer and the insulated substrate by a thermo-compression bonding process to make the conducting layer be covered between the insulated base layer and the insulated substrate for forming a flexible flat cable having the composite shelter. Therefore, the objectives of simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing the cost can be achieved, and the flexible flat cable has the shielding effect and matches the standard of characteristic impedance.

    摘要: A flat cable for use with a mass termination connector having a plurality of regularly spaced terminal elements. The flat cable includes a laminated carrier film and a plurality of discrete conductors held in regularly spaced parallel relationship by the carrier film to match the terminal element spacing of the connector. Each conductor has an insulating jacket made of a thermoplastic material. The carrier film includes an attachment layer of thermoplastic insulatioln having a melting temperature similar to that of the jacket material, and a dimensional stabilization layer made of an insulative material having a melting temperature higher than those of the attachment layer and the jacket material and displaying dimensional stability at the melting temperatures of the attachment layer and jacket material. The jackets of the conductor are fused to the attachment layer, and the attachment layer is held by the stabilization layer. The carrier film can be longitudinally discontinuous to form first cable sections where the conductors are held parallel for ease of termination, and second cable sections where the conductors are not held to increase flexibility and reduce weight. The cable can also be formed into a round configuration to provide advantages during routing, and locating indicia can be applied to the outside surface.

    摘要: A wiring harness including an elongate flexible thermoplastic backing strip to which is secured a first lead. The first lead comprises a conductive core in a thermoplastic sheath, and is secured to the backing strip so as to extend longitudinally of the backing strip, by having its sheath fused to the backing strip.
