Abstract: A facility and method for analyzing and classifying calls without transcription. The facility analyzes individual frames of an audio to identify speech and measure the amount of time spent in speech for each channel (e.g., caller channel, agent channel). Additional telephony metrics such as R-factor or MOS score and other metadata may be factored in as audio analysis inputs. The facility then analyzes the frames together as a whole and formulates a clustered-frame representation of a conversation to further identify dialogue patterns and characterize call classification. Based on the data in the clustered-frame representation, the facility is able to make estimations of call classification. The correlation of dialogue patterns to call classification may be utilized to develop targeted solutions for call classification issues, target certain advertising channels over others, evaluate advertising placements at scale, score callers, and to identify spammers.

Abstract: A method for visual representation of end user response time (EURT) in a multi-tiered network application is provided. Search criteria for searching a repository of client statistics records is received. The search criteria specifies identification information pertaining to a user of a multi-tiered network application experiencing application performance problems and a time period associated with the application performance problems. The identification information identifies an IP address of user's computing device. A plurality of client statistics records matching the search criteria is retrieved from the repository. The retrieved plurality of client statistics records is sorted based on measurements of performance parameters. A graph representing relevant topology hierarchy of the multi-tiered network application is presented to a user based on the sorted client statistics records. The graph visually identifies connections between nodes of the multi-tiered application. The identified connections include potential root-causes of the specified application performance problems.

A leg quality processor is configured to process the link metrics to differentiate quality degradation of the packet voice call among one or more of the media legs.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for maintaining quality of experience (QoE) for a client device on a network. In use, access points that are available to a client device are determined, based on a policy. Additionally, a current QoE provided to the client device by one of the access points utilized by the client device to access the network is determined. This QoE could be valued as a score computed by a function called QoE Metric taking QoS parameters as inputs. An expected QoE associated with each of the other access points is then determined. Further, the access point utilized by the client device to access the network is conditionally switched to one of the other access points, based on the current QoE and the expected QoEs. Additionally, any potential QoE downgrades on the current access point is detected using QoE Degradation Patterns that could be matched with current QoS measures and can encourage the client device to determine more accurately the current QoE.

On condition that the second node is not arranged in the active region, the second operation is not implemented within the period of time. Aspects of the disclosure enable a computing device to defer the implementation of an operation to facilitate managing computational resources.

Abstract: Systems and method can determine a quality of experience metric associated with a video stream being played at a terminal node when packets conveying the video stream are encrypted. Packets associated with a video stream are received at the terminal from a video server. A quality assessment module derives packet information from the packets. The packet information can include identification information and packet statistics. Video stream features are extracted based on the packet information. An occupancy level of a video playback buffer in the terminal node is estimated from the video stream features. The quality assessment module generates the quality of experience metric based at least in part on the estimated occupancy level of the video playback buffer in the terminal node. The quality assessment module can use machine learning processes, for example, neural networks.
