摘要： Methods, an apparatus and a system in which reclosable bags and components thereof are formed are disclosed. The reclosable bags are made from base web material that has transversely applied fastener tape segments thereon. The web material is used in a vertical form, fill and seal bag forming method. The method includes the steps of supplying across the web a continuous strip of tape, having male and female fastener profiles thereon, for sealing thereto. In one embodiment a continuous strip of barrier material, and a continuous strip of fastener having first and second interlocked fastener profile strips are positioned on the continuous strip of tape; and secured thereon, the barrier tape is folded to obtain a fold and two opposing barrier tape fastener strip connecting portions; and, the fold is slit to form two separate continuous strips of barrier material strips and two continuous strips of tape. In another embodiment a coating is applied to the tape itself to prevent sealing of the folded slit tape to itself. The resulting tape and fastener are cut and positioned properly on the web by the unique vacuum belt system of the present invention, by the interconnected tape drive, web drive and by being coordinated with the form fill seal machine.

To produce the reinforced graphite-foil strands what is needed is apparatus for a tapered, cone shaped circular die having a specific geometry suitable for curling the fiber and adhesive coated surface inward upon itself, so that the curled ribbon will adhere to itself when compressed into the final protrusion die forming a finished fiber reinforced composite strand of expanded graphite flake having suitable tensile strength, flexibility, and toughness to permit braiding, weaving and other processing making it commercially useful wherever a dry, lubricous, strong, flexible material is desirable.

摘要： A tube-tape-forming apparatus having a tube-forming base (1, 41) with a half-fold means (5, 46) on a feed end (2, 42), a full-fold means (7, 48) on a cut-off end (3, 43) and a transition-fold means (6, 47) intermediate the half-fold means and the full-fold means. .The half-fold means are guides (8, 11, 14, 15, 49, 52) which fold single-side-adhesion tape (26) in half linearly with nonadhesive sides (30) in contact. The transition-fold means brings opposite sides of folded tape towards each other selectively to form variously loop-folding with overlap of sides of the tape. The full-fold means are guides (19, 21, 23, 71, 88) which press the overlapped sides of the folded tape together in adhesive relationship to form variously circumferential (31) or flattened (32) linear-seam tube tape that can be used in flattened form or hand-inflated to be used in tubular form. The transition-fold means and the guides can be provided with rollers (33, 91). A tape dispenser (27, 92) at the feed end and a cut-off blade (25, 95) at the cut-off end can be provided in accordance with use conditions.

In one aspect, the apparatus comprises a base, a manifold assembly, a center product discharge tube, a collogen forming collar, a discharge horn and a netting support cylinder. Additionally, the apparatus may comprise a netting derucker, a discharge conveyor a product end clipper and other components and elements. The manifold assembly is mounted to the base, and the center product discharge tube extends from the manifold assembly. The collogen forming collar forms the flat sheet into a cylindrical shape, is concentric with the discharge tube and is mounted in association with the discharge tube. The discharge horn extends along a portion of the discharge tube away from the manifold assembly and is mounted in association with the discharge tube. The netting support cylinder is concentric with and outside the discharge tube and discharge horn, and is mounted in association with the discharge tube and discharge horn. The netting support cylinder and discharge horn, away from the manifold assembly, terminate substantially coterminally. Product material flows through the manifold assembly and product discharge tube and collogen film and netting is simultaneously placed about the product as product material exits the product discharge tube.
