Abstract: A watersports boat is equipped with a trimmable drive used to generate a virtual ballast effect. Turbulence experienced by a wake rider on startup is reduced by automatically varying the drive orientation as the watersports boat comes up to speed. A pair of water channelers are located at the stern. One of the water channelers is deployed below the running surface to redirect water across centerline and improve wake shape on the selected side.

Abstract: This disclosure extends to systems, apparatus, and methods for quick release mast mounting assemblies for board mounted hydrofoil assemblies. In one exemplary system, a quick release mounting assembly may include board mountable base receiver for mounting to a sports board, which defines a longitudinal receiving recess. A resilient locking member is disposed at a front end of the base receiver. A separate mast connection member formed as a body configured for connection to an upper end of a hydrofoil mast, corresponds to the longitudinal receiving recess, and includes a counterpart structure for forming a secure connection with the resilient locking member. The mast connection member may include opposite shoulder or wing members that extend laterally orthogonal to the longitudinal axis thereof and the receiving recess may include counterpart slots for receiving these members. The resilient locking member may include a separate spring assembly or be a unitary member.

Abstract: A hydrofoil for a user on a body of water includes a fuselage with a V-shaped front wing and a rear stabilizer. A mast has a lower end projecting upwardly from the fuselage and an upper end fixed with an elongated deck such that the deck is parallel to the fuselage. In use, the user is pulled forward in the body of water by either a towing device, an impeller device, wave swells, or the like, such that the front wing, through hydrofoil action, raises the deck above a surface of the water. As the deck raises higher above the water, the distal tips of the front wing surface and lose lift, stabilizing the elevation of the deck above the water.

Abstract: A smart clothing and backpack system enables a user to perform many actions. The smart clothing includes circuitry and/or is made of a conductive material enclosed in an insulation material. The smart clothing includes a set of sensors configured to detect body information. The smart clothing includes multiple electromagnets configured to adjust a size of the smart clothing. The electromagnets are configured to have an increased attraction to make the smart clothing tighter on the body of the user. The system includes a smart backpack to communicate with the smart clothing. The smart backpack includes a Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) reader configured to detect RFID tags on or in items within the smart backpack. Many other features are able to be implemented with the smart clothing and backpack system. The smart clothing is able to include a wetsuit configured to communicate with a surfboard and/or a backpack.

Abstract: The present invention provides a surf board, comprising a body, and a bottom board layer and a protective layer which are respectively arranged at the two sides of the body; the body comprises a first fiber glass fiber layer arranged on the bottom board layer, an inner core arranged on the first fiber glass layer and a second fiber glass layer arranged on the inner core and connected with the protective layer; the second fiber glass layer is provided with two layers. In the present invention, the bottom board layer is arranged at the lower end of the body, so that the bottom of surf board is firmer. The protective layer is arranged at the upper end of the body, so that the surface of the surf board is protected and is prevented from being damaged due to strong water pressure when the surf board is used.
