摘要: Water solvated polymeric dyes having a deep ultraviolet excitation spectrum are provided. The subject polymeric dyes include a light harvesting multichromophore having conjugation-modifying repeat units incorporated into the polymer backbone to provide segments of π-conjugated co-monomers having limited π-conjugation between segments. Polymeric tandem dyes are also provided that further include a signaling chromophore covalently linked to the multichromophore in energy-receiving proximity therewith. Also provided are labelled specific binding members that include the subject water solvated polymeric dyes. Methods of evaluating a sample for the presence of a target analyte and methods of labelling a target molecule in which the subject polymeric dyes find use are also provided. Systems and kits for practicing the subject methods are also provided.

摘要: A cationic copolymer comprises the divalent monomer units: wherein: each Ar1 independently represents phenylene; each L independently represents a direct bond or wherein each R1 independently represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and each R2 independently represents an alkylene group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and each Z− represents a non-interfering anion; each Ar2 independently represents an optionally substituted divalent aryl ring, with the proviso that if L represents a direct bond, then Ar2 represents an optionally substituted cationic divalent aryl ring accompanied by Z; each R3 independently represents H or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and each D independently represents a direct bond or Ar2, wherein adjacent D and L are not both direct bonds, and wherein if L is a direct bond, then D is Ar2. The cationic copolymer can be free-radially cured and used in a membrane.

摘要: Methods and compositions are provided that include a multichromophore and/or multichromophore complex for identifying a target biomolecule. A sensor biomolecule, for example, an antibody can be covalently linked to the multichromophore. Additionally, a signaling chromophore can be covalently linked to the multichromophore. The arrangement is such that the signaling chromophore is capable of receiving energy from the multichromophore upon excitation of the multichromophore. Since the sensor biomolecule is capable of interacting with the target biomolecule, the multichromophore and/or multichromophore complex can provide enhanced detection signals for a target biomolecule.

2) Process for preparing said copolymer, comprising:
(i) a step of heating a statistical bipolymer A chosen from a poly(butadiene-isoprene), a poly(butadiene-myrcene) and a poly(butadiene-farnesene); and then
(ii) a step of heating the product formed, in the presence of a chain-transfer agent.
3) Use as adhesive, as a mixture with an amine compound comprising at least two amine groups.
