摘要: This patent disclosure includes a process that uniquely and unexpectedly results in the production of extremely high specific surface area and large pore volume carbon nanomaterial with high content of sp2 hybridized carbon-carbon in the form of nanosheets from a renewable carbonaceous raw material. The resulting nanomaterial is in particulate form or porous nanomaterial or dispersed in solvent. This process can also be used to produce carbon nanosheet on substrates or form a nanocomposite with other materials that results in exceptional properties.

摘要: Provided is an internal hybrid electrochemical cell comprising: (A) a pseudocapacitance cathode comprising a cathode active material that contains a conductive carbon material and a porphyrin compound, wherein the porphyrin compound is bonded to or supported by the carbon material to form a redox pair for pseudocapacitance, wherein the carbon material is selected from activated carbon, activated carbon black, expanded graphite flakes, exfoliated graphite worms, carbon nanotube, carbon nanofiber, carbon fiber, a combination thereof; (B) a battery-like anode comprising lithium metal, lithium metal alloy, or a prelithiated anode active material (e.g. prelithiated Si, SiO, Sn, SnO2, etc.), and (C) a lithium-containing electrolyte in physical contact with the anode and the cathode; wherein the cathode active material has a specific surface area no less than 100 m2/g which is in direct physical contact with the electrolyte.

摘要: First, the present invention involves adding a curing catalyst to a phenolic resin, polyvinyl alcohol, a pore-forming agent, and a cross-linking agent, and mixing, casting, heating, and drying the same. Next, the plate-shaped porous phenolic resin obtained thereby which has uniform consecutive macropores having an average pore diameter in the range of 3 to 35 μm and formed in a three-dimensional network pattern is immersed with an organic solvent. Thereafter, this block is extracted and pressure is applied thereto. It is possible to obtain plate-shaped activated carbon for use in an electrode of a power-storage device by carbonizing and activating a block which has undergone this procedure by keeping the same at an increased temperature.

摘要: An impregnation liquid is provided, which includes (A) phenolic resin, (B) diazonaphthoquinone-based compound or a derivative thereof, (C) ionic compound, and (D) organic solvent. The weight of (A) phenolic resin and the weight of (B) diazonaphthoquinone-based compound or a derivative thereof have a ratio of 0.2:0.8 to 0.9:0.1, and the weight of (C) ionic compound and the total weight of (A) phenolic resin and (B) diazonaphthoquinone-based compound or a derivative thereof have a ratio of 0.2:1 to 1.4:1. The impregnation liquid can be used to form an activated carbon layer to wrap and to be directly in contact with the surface of a mesh.

摘要: A method of producing a porous carbon is provided that can change type of functional groups, amount of functional groups, or ratio of functional groups while inhibiting its pore structure from changing. A method of producing a porous carbon includes: a first step of carbonizing a material containing a carbon source and a template source, to prepare a carbonized product; and a second step of immersing the carbonized product into a template removing solution, to remove a template from the carbonized product, and the method is characterized by changing at least two or more of the following conditions: type of the material, ratio of the carbon source and the template source, size of the template, and type of the template removal solution, to thereby control type, amount, or ratio of functional groups that are present in the porous carbon.
