摘要: An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the “as collected” condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The sample preparation and chemical analysis sub-systems can be used to analyze soil, vegetation, and/or manure samples.

摘要: A method of producing a carbonated beverage comprising a blend of water and syrup having a predetermined final carbonation level. The method includes the steps of: introducing CO2 into a flowing stream of a product blend comprising water, syrup and dissolved oxygen, such that CO2 is dissolved in the product blend; deaerating the CO2-containing product blend by introducing the blend into a vented atmospheric vessel, the interior of which is at ambient pressure with a headspace maintained above the surface of the liquid within the vessel, whereby dissolved oxygen is released from the product blend and vented from the vessel; pumping the deaerated product blend from the vessel, wherein the deaerated blend includes dissolved CO2 at an intermediate carbonation level less than the final carbonation level; and carbonating the deaerated product blend to the final carbonation level downstream of the vented vessel to produce a carbonated beverage for subsequent packaging. A system for performing the method is also provided, as well as a method of producing a beverage using nitrogen deaeration.

摘要: Provided is a gas dissolving device capable of dissolving gas in a liquid in a supersaturated state and maintaining such a saturated state in a stable manner, and being easily attached to a water server or the like. The gas dissolving device generates hydrogen water by dissolving hydrogen in water, and discharges the hydrogen water from an outlet. The gas dissolving device includes a dissolving chamber that stores under pressure generated hydrogen water introduced therein, and pressure reduction and transfer means for preventing pressure variation in a tube-shaped passage that connects the dissolving tank and the outlet due to an action of discharging the hydrogen water from the outlet, and for forming a laminar flow.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for the production of calcium dipropionate by a batch process in a single pressure-resistant reaction vessel. The reaction vessel is charged with calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, calcium carbonate or a mixture thereof. Then, pure high-concentrated propionic acid, preferably in a concentration of above 99% is added to the solid raw materials. The heat (up to 160° C.) and pressure (up to 10 bar) are retained in the reaction vessel and are subsequently used to discharge the reaction water after the complete amount of acid has been added. After a reaction time of 3 to 6 hours, pure calcium dipropionate with a water content of below 1% is obtained.
