摘要: The present disclosure relates to a device for processing an audio signal. The device may include a first acoustic-electric transducer and a second acoustic-electric transducer. The first acoustic-electric transducer may have a first frequency response, and may be configured to detect the audio signal and generate a first sub-band signal according to the detected audio signal. The second acoustic-electric transducer may have a second frequency response, the second frequency response being different from the first frequency response. The second acoustic-electric transducer may be configured to detect the audio signal and generate a second sub-band signal according to the detected audio signal.

摘要: A system and method is described for determining whether a loudspeaker device has relocated, tilted, rotated, or changed environment such that one or more parameters for driving the loudspeaker may be modified and/or a complete reconfiguration of the loudspeaker system may be performed. In one embodiment, the system may include a set of sensors. The sensors provide readings that are analyzed to determine 1) whether the loudspeaker has moved since a previous analysis and/or 2) a distance of movement and/or a degree change in orientation of the loudspeaker since the previous analysis. Upon determining the level of movement is below a threshold value, the system adjusts previous parameters used to drive one or more of the loudspeakers. By adjusting previous parameters instead of performing a complete recalibration, the system provides a more efficient technique for ensuring that the loudspeakers continue to produce accurate sound for the listener.

The one or more visual displays are specially designed and manufactured to allow sound associated with the event to propagate from the one or more loudspeakers with minimal acoustical distortion and/or minimum acoustical vibration while presenting a visual representation of the event to the one or more spectators. Moreover, the one or more loudspeakers and the one or more visual displays are situated to be a predetermined displacement from each other to further minimize acoustical distortion.

The system can include a plurality of speakers configured to output auditory signals and a sound localization controller configured to control the plurality of speakers to coordinate the auditory signals to simulate an origination location of a patient alarm. The sound localization controller can determine adjusted auditory signals and control a plurality of speakers to output the plurality of adjusted auditory signals. A method for dynamically controlling speaker settings in a medical environment can include determining volume settings corresponding to a speaker, monitoring a level of ambient noise corresponding to a room of a patient, controlling the volume settings of the speaker to reduce or increase a sound level output of a speaker. A patient monitoring system can be configured to physically manipulate medical devices in response to audible commands. The system can receive a plurality of vocal commands from a user and can manipulate various settings after confirmation from a user.

摘要: An augmented reality (AR) device, such as AR glasses, may include a microphone array. The sensitivity of the microphone array can be directed to a target by beamforming, which includes combining the audio of each microphone of the array in a particular way based on a location of the target. The present disclosure describes systems and methods to determine the location of the target based on a gaze of a user and beamform the audio accordingly. This eye-tracked beamforming (i.e., foveated beamforming) can be used by AR applications to enhance sounds from a gaze direction and to suppress sounds from other directions. Additionally, the gaze information can be used to help visualize the results of an AR application, such as speech-to-text.

An acoustic system including a speaker system that includes at least one speaker unit pair including a positive speaker unit that emits a sound based on an acoustic signal of a predetermined sound source and a negative speaker unit that emits a sound based on an acoustic signal having an opposite phase to the acoustic signal, in which the speaker unit pair is configured such that a surface of the positive speaker unit and a surface of the negative speaker unit located foremost when viewed from a front direction are one plane perpendicular to a ground plane, and an arrangement of the positive speaker unit and the negative speaker unit when viewed from the front direction is parallel to a direction perpendicular to the ground plane, and is configured such that sounds emitted from the positive speaker unit and the negative speaker unit in a rear direction go around in the front direction.

摘要: A dual omnidirectional microphone array noise suppression is described. Compared to conventional arrays and algorithms, which seek to reduce noise by nulling out noise sources, the array of an embodiment is used to form two distinct virtual directional microphones which are configured to have very similar noise responses and very dissimilar speech responses. The only null formed is one used to remove the speech of the user from V2. The two virtual microphones may be paired with an adaptive filter algorithm and VAD algorithm to significantly reduce the noise without distorting the speech, significantly improving the SNR of the desired speech over conventional noise suppression systems.

The audio device includes a first sound wave sensor to receive a sound wave and output a first signal based on the sound wave; a second sound wave sensor to receive the sound wave and output a second signal based on the sound wave; and a signal processing circuit coupled to the first sound wave sensor and the second sound wave sensor to generate an output signal based on the first signal and the second signal, wherein the audio device's near-field sensitivity to a sound wave is substantially lower than its far-field sensitivity to the sound wave.
