Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and a base station exchange communications to enable the UE to switch beams. The UE receives a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource configuration from the base station, wherein the PUCCH resource configuration includes a plurality of PUCCH resources, receives a signal from the base station based on which one of the plurality of PUCCH resources is activated, performs a beam switching operation to change a transmission beam to a beam corresponding to the activated PUCCH resource and transmits periodic uplink (UL) data using the beam corresponding to the activated PUCCH resource.

Abstract: Methods and devices for a UE to multiplex uplink control information (UCI). The UE establishes a connection with a base station. The UE determines whether to multiplex first UCI by first identifying whether intra-priority timing overlap exists between the timing resources of the first UCI and a PUSCH with the same priority. Subsequently, the UE identifies whether inter-priority timing overlap exists between the timing resources of the first UCI and a second PUCCH with a different priority from the first PUCCH. Finally, the UE identifies whether the timing resources of the first UCI overlap with a second PUSCH with a different priority than the first PUCCH. The UE multiplexes the first UCI based on the determination whether to multiplex the first UCI, and transmits the multiplexed first UCI to the base station.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for Random Access Channel (RACH) configuration in Layer 1 (L1)/Layer 2 (L2) mobility. A user equipment (UE) may obtain a downlink (DL) Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) list from a first Transmission and Reception Point (TRP). The DL TCI list may include DL beam information, RACH Occasion (RO) information, and initial Bandwidth Part (BWP) information associated with each DL TCI of a plurality of DL TCIs related to the first TRP and multiple TRPs adjacent to the first TRP. The UE may receive a handover command from the first TRP via Downlink Control Information (DCI) in Li or Media Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) in L2. The handover command indicates a handover from the first TRP to a second TRP of the multiple TRPs for the UE, and includes a specified DL TCI related to the second TRP. The UE may determine RACH information related to the second TRP, based at least partly on the specified DL TCI related to the second TRP included in the handover command and the DL TCI list. The UE may then perform random access to the second TRP based on the RACH information related to the second TRP. The RACH information may include uplink (UL) beam information, RO information and Bandwidth Part (BWP) information for the UE to perform random access to the second TRP.

Abstract: Aspects are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for measurement gap configuration. A cellular network may establish communication with a UE using a first and second cell. The cellular network may configure bandwidth parts (BWPs) for the first and second cell, including a first and second BWP for the first cell and a third and fourth BWP for the second cell. A measurement gap configuration that specifies when the UE is to use a first measurement gap pattern may be provided to the UE. At a first time, the cellular network may communicate with the UE using the first BWP for the first cell and the third BWP for the second cell, based on the first measurement gap pattern. At a second time, the cellular network may communicate with the UE using the second BWP for the first cell based on a modification of the first measurement gap pattern.

Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing techniques for channel occupancy rate determination of a channel between a user equipment (UE) and a base station in an unlicensed spectrum. Abstract: Provided is a method for a user equipment (UE). The UE obtains a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) secondary cell (SCell) activation command from a primary cell (PCell) or primary secondary-cell-group cell (PSCell). The PUCCH SCell activation command is used for an PUCCH SCell activation of a target PUCCH SCell for the UE. The UE performs PUCCH SCell activation operations associated with a valid timing advance (TA) and the PUCCH SCell activation command. TA is considered to be a valid TA when the TA meets a preset criterion. The UE generates a channel state information (CSI) report for transmission to at least one of the PCell, PSCell and the target PUCCH SCell. The CSI report indicates that the PUCCH SCell activation is completed.
