Abstract:
An image sensor and a method for acquiring images by sampling of the level of a voltage representative of the charge of a photodiode, in which a first sample is taken during a reset of the charge level of the photodiode; and a second sample is taken provided that the decrease slope of the voltage after the reset is lower than a threshold, said second sample replacing the first one.

Abstract:
For the encryption of data to be stored in a memory external to a circuit, provision is made to store in the external memory encrypted data words in association with an initialization vector and a key identifier associated with a secret key that has served to encrypt same.
Abstract:
The secure circulation of digital documents to be reproduced includes providing each user with a smart card containing identification information associated therewith, and identifying from a server connected to a digital data transmission network the smart card connected thereto. Information identifying a document to be played back is transmitted to the server from a terminal connected to the smart card. In response, a decryption key specific to the document to be reproduced is transmitted to the smart card for storing therein. The document to be played back is decrypted using an adapted reader connected to the smart card, and includes the stored decryption key for document playback with the reader. Information identifying the readers is inserted into the smart card, and fraudulent use of the smart card is determined according to the reader identification information stored in the smart card.
Abstract:
The method and device include the filtering and the analog/digital conversion of an intermediate signal. The intermediate signal is processed by a filtering and analog/digital conversion circuit that is configurable using switched passive capacitor technology. The various configurations successively adopted by the circuit provide filtering and analog/digital conversion to be successively carried out.
Abstract:
The generation of an identification number of a chip supporting at least one integrated circuit, including the step of causing a cutting of at least one conductive section by cutting of the chip among several first conductive sections parallel to one another and perpendicular to at least one edge of the chip, the first sections being individually connected, by at least one of their ends, to the chip, and exhibiting different lengths, the position of the cutting line with respect to the chip edge conditioning the identification number.
Abstract:
A filter intended to receive a discrete time signal at a sampling dock frequency, comprising a determined number, greater than 2, of filtering units, each filtering unit comprising head capacitors in a number equal to the determined number, assembled in parallel between an input terminal and the terminal of an integration capacitor; and means for connecting, in successive clock cycles in a number equal to the determined number, successively each head capacitor to the input terminal, and for then simultaneously connecting the head capacitors to the integration capacitor, and in which the successive dock cycles during which the head capacitors of a filtering unit are connected to the input terminal are offset by one dock cycle from one filtering unit to the next one.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the invention relates to a process for compression of executable code by a microprocessor, comprising steps consisting of decomposing the executable code into words; compressing each word of executable code, each compressed word of executable code comprising a part of predefined fixed length and a part of variable length whereof the length is defined by the part of fixed length; and combining all the parts of fixed length and all the parts of variable length of the words respectively into a block of parts of fixed length and in a block of parts of variable length, the respective positions of at least certain parts of variable length in the block of parts of variable length being saved in an addressing table.
Abstract:
A video image processing system is described that generates the interpolated video images with sharp and jaggedness-free edges. A method of video image processing is also described that interpolates video images to generate the video images with sharp and jaggedness-free edges. The video image processing system receives and makes input image data available for further processing; analyzes the local features of the input image data; filters the input image data before performing interpolation process; modifies the phase value adaptive to the local edge distance; rescales the input image data in horizontal interpolation using the modified phase value; and rescales the horizontally interpolated image data in vertical interpolation using modified phase value.

The present disclosure relates to a method for executing, by a processor, a program read in a program memory, comprising steps of: detecting a program memory read address jump; providing prior to a jump address instruction for jumping a program memory read address, an instruction for storing the presence of the jump address instruction; and activating an error signal if an address jump has been detected and if the presence of a jump address instruction has not been stored. The present disclosure also relates to securing integrated circuits.
