Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system for pressurizing liquid hydrogen (LH2). The system has a pressure vessel for containing an initial quantity of LH2, with the pressure vessel containing an inlet orifice and an outlet orifice. A vaporizer is used which has an inlet and an outlet. A supply tube is used to couple the outlet orifice of the pressure vessel with the inlet of the vaporizer. A discharge tube couples the discharge outlet of the vaporizer with the inlet orifice of the pressure vessel. The vaporizer receives LH2 from the pressure vessel via the supply tube during a pressurization operation, warms the LH2 using an ambient environment, and discharges heated and pressurized H2 back to the pressure vessel through the supply tube.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for temporary fluid commodity transfer stations. A fluid commodity transfer structure can include a base member, a casing, and a fluid commodity transfer system. The fluid commodity transfer system can be configured to dispense a commodity for transloading from opposite sides of the fluid commodity transfer structure. A modular fueling station system can include one or more receptacles operably coupled to a fluid commodity transfer structure to allow a fluid commodity transfer system to utilize each receptacle as a fuel reservoir. The fluid commodity transfer structure can be loaded onto an intermodal transport vehicle, unloaded at a location, deposited at the location, and be operably coupled with one or more receptacles and/or other fluid commodity transfer structures to provide fueling infrastructure for fleet vehicles or allow for the commercial transfer of fluid from one receptable to another as a mobile fluid transfer system.

Abstract: Disclosed is a device for storing and supplying cryogenic fluid, in particular an on-board device for storing and supplying liquefied hydrogen, which device comprises a cryogenic storage tank for storing liquefied fluid, a bleed-off circuit, and a system for pressurizing the tank comprising a pressurizing duct having two ends respectively connected to the upper and lower portions of the tank, a vaporizing heat exchanger and a set of one or more valves configured so as to allow liquid to be bled from the tank, to be heated in the heat exchanger and to be fed back into the tank; the system for pressurizing the tank being configured so as to bleed off a predetermined volume of fluid from the tank, to store and to isolate this volume in the vaporizing heat exchanger until the volume of fluid reaches predetermined temperature and/or pressure conditions prior to reinjecting the volume of fluid into the tank; the pressurizing duct comprising a member for limiting the flow rate and/or the pressure of the volume of reinjected fluid.

Abstract: A fluid storage and supply device comprising a cryogenic reservoir for storing liquefied fluid, a withdrawing circuit comprising a first withdrawing pipe having a first upstream end connected to the upper part of the reservoir and a second downstream end intended to be connected to a user member, the first withdrawing pipe comprising a first heating heat exchanger situated outside the reservoir and a second heating heat exchanger situated inside the reservoir, the withdrawing circuit comprising a set of valve(s) configured to ensure the passage of a flow of fluid circulating from the first end towards the second end by passing through the first heat exchanger and then through the second heat exchanger or by passing solely through the first heat exchanger without passing through the second heat exchanger, characterized in that the device further comprises a system for pressurizing the reservoir comprising a pressurizing pipe separate from the withdrawing circuit and comprising two ends respectively connected to the upper and lower parts of the reservoir, a vaporizing heat exchanger and a set of valve(s) configured to allow the withdrawal of liquid from the reservoir, the heating thereof in the vaporizing heat exchanger and the reintroduction thereof into the reservoir.
