摘要: Systems are described for delivery of a wide variety of materials in which liquid and gas or vapor states are concurrently present, from a package preferably including a fluid-containing collapsible liner. Headspace gas is removed from a pressure dispensing package prior to liquid dispensation therefrom, and ingress gas is removed thereafter during dispensation operation. At least one sensor senses presence of gas or a gas-liquid interface in a reservoir or gas-liquid separation region. A gas removal system including an integral reservoir, at least one sensor, and at least one flow control elements may be included within a connector adapted to mate with a pressure dispensing package, for highly efficient removal of gas from the liquid being dispensed from the container.

摘要: A first liquid container has therein a level control including a float valve, a storage tank or second container and a third container having therein a liquid which is maintained at a fixed liquid level. The third container is connected to the liquid in the first container by the float valve, and is replenished by the liquid in the storage tank. Preferably the storage tank is designed as an evaporator, with a condensate separator plate or surface arranged above the third container which also has an overflow to the storage tank. A temperature stabilizer keeps the liquid in the first liquid container at a temperature above ambient, and the storage tank is in contact with the liquid in the first container to be warmed thereby, and the condensate separator is cooled by ambient air.

摘要: A ballast broom machine for sweeping ballast off a track comprises an elongated machine frame supported on the track by undercarriages, and at least three ballast brooms vertically adjustably mounted on the machine frame, the ballast brooms being spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction and including a leading ballast broom, each ballast broom comprising a rotary shaft extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction and flexible sweeping elements projecting radially from the rotary shaft. A conveyor band is mounted on the machine frame and extends in the longitudinal direction, the conveyor band having an input end arranged to receive ballast swept off the track by the leading ballast broom and a discharge end positioned higher than the input end, and a ballast storage bin having discharge openings is arranged on the machine frame below the conveyor band discharge end for receiving discharged ballast therefrom. A ballast conveyor band is mounted on the machine frame immediately preceding each ballast broom and extends transversely to the longitudinal direction.

摘要: A movable pressure vessel has an insulated wall portion for limiting the temperature rise of liquefied gas therewithin. A relief valve is provided for limiting the pressure within the vessel to establish a working pressure. The filling means of the vessel includes a relief valve for limiting the maximum pressure of the gas entering the vessel to a pressure of approximately 15 p.s.i.g. less than the working pressure of the vessel. Liquefied gas is loaded into the vessel at a maximum temperature and pressure as determined by the relief valve in the filling means, and temperature rise of the liquefied gas during transport is limited so that the pressure produced by the gas does not exceed the working pressure of the vessel. A vapor return means extends along the bottom of the vessel and opens therewithin at a point remote from the outlet means of the vessel and adjacent the front end of the vessel.
