    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for performing an operation related to a Radio Link Failure (RLF) in a wireless communication system. Particularly, the method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes monitoring a radio link state of a serving base station (BS); detecting a physical layer problem; transmitting a specific random access preamble related to the RLF to one or more neighboring BSs through a specific Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) resource; receiving a random access response from the one or more neighboring BSs; determining a neighboring BS to which an additional RRC connection is to be configured based on the received random access response; and configuring an RRC connection with the determined neighboring BS, wherein the specific PRACH resource is a common PRACH resource that is separately configured to transmit the specific random access preamble, thereby preventing the Link Outage phenomenon of the UE for a specific service.

    Abstract: Disclosed in the present application is a method by which a terminal receives a signal, to which hybrid beamforming is applied, from a base station in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method comprises the steps of: acquiring information on a first precoder for first beamforming of the hybrid beamforming; generating information on a precompensation precoder for the first beamforming by using the information on the first precoder; reporting the information on the precompensation precoder to the base station; and receiving, from the base station, a signal to which the precompensation precoder, the first beamforming, and second beamforming are applied, wherein the precompensation precoder adjusts, to zero degrees, a boresight direction of a signal to which the first precoder for the first beamforming is applied, and a second precoder for the second beamforming is configured to enable the signal to be transmitted in a final boresight direction on the basis of a boresight direction of zero degrees.

    Abstract: In a wireless communication system, when a terminal receives control information from a downlink subframe, which is divided into a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) region and a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) region, in a wireless communication system, the receiving of the control information includes: receiving, from a base station, first CFI information indicating the number of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols available for Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) transmission; receiving, from the base station, second CFI information indicating start OFDM symbol information available for Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) transmission corresponding to an enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel (E-PDCCH); and receiving the PDSCH from the base station on the basis of the first CFI information or the second CFI information. The PDCCH is placed in the PDCCH region of the downlink subframe, and the E-PDCCH is placed in the PDSCH region of the downlink subframe.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing fractional beamforming using a massive antenna array at a Base Station (BS) in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The method includes dividing the massive antenna array into partitions by rows or by columns, transmitting control information for the fractional beamforming to a User Equipment (UE), receiving feedback information based on the control information from the UE, and transmitting a signal to the UE by performing beamforming using sub-precoders for the partitions and a linking precoder that links the partitions. The control information includes at least one of information about the partitions, information about pilot patterns corresponding to the partitions, information about the linking precoder, and information indicating whether the partitions belong to the same transmission point.
