    Abstract: Included are a first obtainer which obtains a first signal output from a first microphone, a second obtainer which obtains a second signal output from a second microphone installed in a position different from a position where first microphone is installed, a delayer which delays the second signal, a mixed sounds estimator which estimates noises mixed in the first signal on the basis of the second signal delayed by the delayer, and an eraser which erases the noises from the first signal, the noises being estimated by the mixed sounds estimator.

    Abstract: A speaker recognition device according to the present disclosure includes: an acoustic feature calculator that calculates, from utterance data indicating a voice of an obtained utterance, acoustic feature of the voice of the utterance; a statistic calculator that calculates an utterance data statistic from the calculated acoustic feature; a speaker feature extractor that extracts speaker feature of a speaker of the utterance data from the calculated utterance data statistic using a deep neural network (DNN); a similarity calculator that calculates a similarity between the extracted speaker feature and pre-stored speaker feature of at least one registered speaker; and a speaker recognizer that recognizes the speaker of the utterance data based on the calculated similarity.

    Abstract: A speaker recognition device includes: an obtaining unit which obtains a speech uttered by a speaker included in one or more speakers; a storage which stores the speech obtained by the obtaining unit; a trigger input unit which receives a trigger; an utterance start detector which detects a start position of the speech stored in the storage, when the trigger input unit receives the trigger, the start position being a position at which utterance of the speech has started; and a speaker identification unit which identifies the speaker of the speech from the one or more speakers based on at least first timing and second timing, the first timing being timing at which the trigger input unit has received the trigger, the second timing being timing indicating the start position of the speech detected by the utterance start detector.

    Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a receiver and a decoder. The receiver includes a plurality of antenna elements and, in operation, receives from a base station apparatus a modulated signal mapped to one of a plurality of subframes defined in a frame corresponding to a communicable range to which the communication apparatus belongs. The plurality of subframes are defined by time-division, frequency-division, or time-and-frequency division of the frame. A maximum number of modulated signals that can be simultaneously transmitted in a subframe from the base station apparatus varies depending on the communicable range. The decoder, in operation, decodes the received modulated signal.

    Abstract: An encoder includes memory and circuitry coupled to the memory. The circuitry, for each of temporal sub-layers for temporal scalability different from spatial scalability, stores first parameters into buffering period supplemental enhancement information (SEI) and encodes the first parameters. The first parameters present initial delays in timing to extract data from a coded picture buffer (CPB). The circuitry stores a second parameter into the buffering period SEI and encodes the second parameter. The second parameter indicates a total number of the temporal sub-layers. A value of the second parameter is equal to a value of a third parameter that is encoded into a sequence parameter set and indicates a total number of the temporal sub-layers.
