Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for electrifying a drivetrain of a vehicle. In one example, a gearbox for a vehicle a first gear coupled to a first input shaft configured to be driven by a first electric motor, a second gear configured to mesh with the first gear, and a third gear configured to mesh with the second gear and coupled to a third shaft configured to drive a first axle of the vehicle and connectable to a second axle of the vehicle. The gearbox further includes a fourth gear coupled to the first input shaft, a fifth gear coupled to a lay shaft coupled to the second gear, a sixth gear coupled to a second input shaft, and a seventh gear coupled to a power takeoff shaft configured to drive one or more power takeoff units, the second input shaft configured to be driven by a second electric motor.

Abstract: Methods and systems for a variable displacement bent axis piston motor are described. In one example, a variable displacement bent axis piston motor comprises a bent axis unit (BAU) rotary group including a cylinder block coupled to a drive shaft of the bent axis piston motor, and an electric actuator coupled to a servo piston of the bent axis piston motor, wherein a displacement of the BAU rotary group is controlled by an inclination angle between the drive shaft and a valve plate of the BAU rotary group coupled to the cylinder block, the inclination angle controlled by the servo piston, the servo piston controlled by the electric actuator. The servo piston is controlled by the electric actuator based a feedback control system, which may switch between various control strategies for adjusting the inclination angle based on different driving scenarios.

Abstract: A steering system for vehicles with independent axles is disclosed. The system may have a second circuit for control of a second cylinder. The second circuit may have a solenoid valve, with at least four ways and three positions. The solenoid valve may be interposed between a second hydraulic liquid inlet line, a second hydraulic liquid outlet line, and a third operating duct and a fourth operating duct for the passage of hydraulic liquid. The system moreover envisages an electronic unit for management and control of the directional-control solenoid valve, which is operatively connected to a device for detecting the steering angle imposed by the first cylinder and is designed to manage the directional-control solenoid valve as a function of the data detected by the device.

In the system, the first manifold includes a first electrically activated valve fluidically coupled to the piston-side interfaces, a first damping device, and a second damping device, the first electrically activated valve is configured to lock and unlock vertical motion of the first and second hydraulic cylinders and, while vertical motion of the first and second hydraulic cylinders is locked, the first electrically activated valve permits fluidic communication between the first and second hydraulic cylinders to permit free roll motion in the hydraulic suspension system.
