Abstract: A total task vehicle (TTV) may operate indoors to move a variety of different types of materials and accomplish a variety of different types of tasks, using tools and accessories powered by/connected to the TTV. One or more high power density (HD) battery packs may provide both 240V DC to 380V DC and 120V AC power to propel the TTV and also to function as a generator for tools and accessories attached to the TTV. A high torque/high speed convertible drive system may allow the TTV to operate in a ride-on mode, a walk-behind mode, providing for flexibility and adaptability in use of the TTV.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for electrifying a drivetrain of a vehicle. In one example, a gearbox for a vehicle includes a first gear coupled to a first shaft that is configured to be driven by an electric motor of the vehicle. Additionally, the gearbox includes a second gear configured to mesh with the first gear, and a third gear configured to mesh with the second gear, where the third gear is coupled to a third shaft that is configured to drive a first axle of the vehicle and is connectable to a second axle of the vehicle.

Abstract: A front end accessory drive (FEAD) for a military vehicle. The FEAD includes a first belt, a second belt, multiple accessories, an electric motor-generator, at least one other accessory, and a sprag clutch. The accessories and the electric motor-generator are coupled with the first belt. The at least one other accessory, the first belt, and the second belt are coupled with the sprag clutch. The second belt is configured to couple with an output shaft of an engine of the military vehicle and be driven by the output shaft of the engine to drive the sprag clutch. The sprag clutch is thereby configured to drive the at least one other accessory and the first belt, and the first belt is thereby configured to drive the plurality of accessories, and the electric motor-generator.

Abstract: Systems and methods for driving an accessory of a vehicle. The system includes a power take-off (PTO) device, a mechanically driven accessory, a battery, and power conversion circuitry electrically connected to the battery. The system also includes a first electric motor mechanically coupled to the PTO device and a second electric motor mechanically coupled to the mechanically driven accessory. The system further includes an engageable mechanical connector that, when engaged, mechanically couples the PTO device and the mechanically driven accessory. The system performs operations including engaging the engageable mechanical connector when a speed of the PTO device is within a predetermined speed range; disengaging the engageable mechanical connector when the speed of the PTO device is outside the predetermined speed range; and based on disengaging the engageable mechanical connector, providing electric power to the second electric motor to generate and transfer mechanical energy to the mechanically driven accessory.
