    Abstract: A vital-sign sensor is provided. The vital-sign sensor includes an output/input port, a driving/conversion circuit, a detection circuit, and a controller. The output/input port includes a detection pin. The driving/conversion circuit is coupled to the output/input port and controlled by a control signal. The detection circuit includes an input node coupled to the detection pin. The detection circuit generates a detection signal according to a detection voltage at the input node. In response to the output/input port connecting a sensing probe, the detection voltage has a first voltage value, and the controller detects a type of the sensing probe according to the detection signal corresponding to the first voltage value. The controller generates the control signal according to the determined type. The driving/conversion circuit generates a driving signal according to the control signal to drive the sensing probe.

    Abstract: A character recognition method includes the stages as detailed in the following paragraph. An image is received, wherein the image is one in a plurality of consecutive images. A target object in the image is detected. Object information of the target object is defined according to the area ratio of the target object occupied in the image. Whether the target object in the image is the same as the target object in the previous image is determined according to the object information. Character recognition on the target object is performed to obtain a recognition result. The weighting score of the recognition result is calculated according to the object information and the recognition result. The weighting score of the recognition result of the target object in the consecutive images is accumulated until the weighting score is higher than a preset value, and the recognition result is output.

    Abstract: A power supply assembly includes a power supply unit disposed within a housing and an adjustable plate module movably disposed on a floor thereof. The adjustable plate module includes a plate, a shaft, a stopper panel, and a compressible device. The plate has two planar surfaces positioned at different heights with respect to the floor. The shaft is fixedly coupled to and extends outwardly from the plate. The shaft is configured to move between a first position and a second position to transition a connector between the planar surfaces. The stopper panel is disposed adjacent to a distal end of the shaft and has an opening therein for accommodating the shaft. The compressible device is disposed around the shaft such that a displacement of the plate causes the compressible device to compress against the stopper panel and facilitate movement of the shaft from the first position to the second position.

    Abstract: A connector clip is disclosed. The connector clip includes a base, a cover, a hinge coupling the cover and the base, and a fastener. The base has a first base side joined to a second base side via a connecting base side. The cover has a first cover side joined to a second cover side via a connecting cover side. The fastener holds the first base side and the first cover side in a fixed position when the connector clip is in a closed configuration in which the connecting base side is parallel to the connecting cover side. An internal cable opening is formed in part by the connecting base side and the connecting cover side when the connector clip is in the closed configuration. The connector clip secures a cable passing through the internal cable opening and connected to a board in its place in the closed configuration.

    Abstract: An expansion bay for a computer device for easy insertion and extension of an expansion component is disclosed. The expansion bay has two facing side walls, a bottom panel joining the facing side walls, and a closed end. A front cross member joins the side walls to define a front open end. A pair of springs are located the closed end that force the expansion component away from the closed end. A pair of rotating levers are mounted on the front cross member near each of the side walls. Each of the rotating levers has a pin that engages a groove on the expansion component that is inserted through the open front end. The levers are rotated via the pins engaging the grooves when the expansion component is moved into and out of open front end.

    Abstract: A liquid cooling system includes a liquid coolant conduit in proximity to heat-generating electrical components within an enclosed space. The conduit allows circulation of a liquid coolant to extract heat from the heat-generating components. The heat-generating components includes at least one first heat-generating electrical component and at least one second heat-generating electrical component. The first heat-generating component produces greater heat than the second heat-generating component. The enclosed space includes an inlet and an outlet. The conduit includes a nozzle fluidly connected to the inlet. The nozzle is located within the enclosed space. The nozzle forms first and second aperture sets. The first aperture set directs the liquid coolant to the first heat-generating component. The second aperture set directs the liquid coolant to the second heat-generating component. The nozzle allows liquid coolant to pass the first heat-generating component at a faster rate than the second heat-generating component.
