Abstract:
Disclosed are various embodiments for elevating a user account by granting administrator permissions to workstations of network users. One embodiment of such a method comprises receiving authorization to provide a user temporary membership to an administrators group for a defined period of time; sending instructions to a workstation of the user to register as a member to the administrators group of the workstation; and in response to the membership having expired, sending instructions to remove the user as a member of the administrators group on the workstation.
Abstract:
A fluid-powered, helical rotary actuary is provided. The actuary includes a housing, a shaft with output ends positioned in the housing, and a piston sleeve surrounding the shaft and also positioned within the housing. The shaft includes a groove for receiving a collar. The collar creates a false shoulder such that the shaft is able to have the same diameter along the length of the shaft, thus allowing for a larger working area and more torque output density. The actuary also includes a support ring positioned on the shaft near the splined portion of the output end. The support ring is used to stabilize the attachment of an external member, and also to protect the shaft from damage caused by the splined receiving portion of the external member, or hub.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for maintaining neutrality while trading a list of securities using an algorithmic trading facility coupled with at least one destination. This destination includes at least one alternative trading system (ATS). This facility is coupled, via an electronic data network, to a plurality of trading clients, and configured to receive a trade request to trade a list of securities from a trading client. This request includes user defined trading constraints that are used to generate and transmit trade orders to at least one ATS. The orders are transmitted based on trading data related to the destinations, the trade list, and the trading constraints. The facility can identify each executed trade corresponding to the trade orders and calculate a trade imbalance. The facility can determine whether the trade imbalance exceeds the trading constraints, and reallocate one or more of said submitted orders based on this determination.
Abstract:
The current invention provides a second feedback loop around the existing FLL, which forces the signal on the route of N-divider (NDIV), PFD, CP, and LPF to essentially reach their desired lock conditions before the FLL is switched off and the system enters PLL mode. This loop works by comparing the output voltage of the FLL DAC to the LPF output voltage, and then using this value to modulate the divider's dividing value. After the secondary feedback loop settles, output voltage from the LPF will be equal to the value that can drive the VCO to the desired lock frequency, and the phase error at the input side of the PFD produces a zero-average current to the charge pump. When this condition is set, the loop is essentially already in phase lock and the lock transient from the FLL mode to the PLL mode will be minimal.
Abstract:
A vending machine for dispensing a number of products. The vending machine may include a transparent panel, a number of visible product columns, a number of non-visible product columns, and a product delivery system.
Abstract:
An interferometric switched beam radar apparatus and method are disclosed. In one embodiment, a selected antenna of a planar array of beam forming antennas is activated with a substantially continuous frequency modulated transmit signal and a return signal is received from at least two return antennas that have a known offset distance relative to each other. Phase information is extracted from each return signal and used to present information regarding an operating environment to a user. Each beam forming antenna within the array may correspond to a particular viewing angle within the operating environment.
Abstract:
A system includes a monitoring system that provides at least one signal as a function of at least some data provided on a bus. A measure of performance for the at least some data is adjusted based on the at least one signal. An analysis system is operative to perform logic analysis of the data on the bus as a function of the at least one signal.
Abstract:
A first amorphous silicon layer is formed over a substrate and a second amorphous silicon layer is formed over the first amorphous silicon layer. When a laser annealing process is performed, the second amorphous silicon layer absorbs more laser light than the first amorphous silicon layer does. The first amorphous silicon layer crystallizes into a microcrystalline silicon layer and the second amorphous silicon layer crystallizes into a polysilicon layer. During the laser annealing process, light interference between the first amorphous silicon layer and an underlying buffer layer is eliminated owing to that the second amorphous silicon layer absorbs more laser light. The laser fringe is eliminated. The microcrystalline silicon layer with better crystalline uniformity can serve as an active layer for TFTs in the display area of an OLED display to improve its illumination uniformity.
Abstract:
A linearization system is provided for a Fractional-N Offset Phase Locked Loop (FN-OPLL) in a frequency or phase modulation system. In general, the linearization system processes a modulation signal to provide a linearized modulation signal to a fractional-N divider in a reference path of the FN-OPLL such that a frequency or phase modulation component at the output of the FN-OPLL is substantially linear with respect to the modulation signal.
