Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for performing adjustment to optimize the voltage for each distribution network in a power distribution system. The apparatus for adjusting a voltage in the power distribution system adjusts the voltage by switching a switch that lies on a path in the power distribution system. The apparatus determines a switch that is to become a switching target from among switches lying on the path, obtains a voltage optimization value of the determined switching target switch, selects a switch having the minimum voltage optimization value by changing the switching target switch to another switch in order to obtain the voltage optimization value, and adjusts the voltage through switching of the selected switch.

Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and method for minimizing a distribution loss which reconstructs the system construction of a distribution system in consideration of section load characteristics of mutually different distribution system. The apparatus for minimizing a distribution loss which determines a loss calculation period for detecting a loss minimization time point using mutually different distribution systems, calculates loss values of mutually different distribution systems set according to each time point of the loss calculation period, and calculates a total loss value, and selects the mutually different distribution systems one by one during the loss calculation period, and calculates a loss value for specific systems of each distribution system in consideration of a change of a section load in each selected distribution system, determines a loss minimization time point using the specific system loss value of each distribution system and the total loss value.
Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus for detecting tumor cells including a tumor cell detection chip and a method for detecting tumor cells. The apparatus and method for detecting tumor cells according to the present disclosure enable convenient detection of tumor cells in short time and thus allow for treatment prior to metastasis of the tumor cells as well as easy diagnosis and clinical management of cancer patients. In addition, the detected tumor cells may be cultured as they are for use in genetic analysis.
Abstract:
Provided are a compensating mask, a multi-optical system using the compensating mask, and a method of compensating for a 3-dimensional (3-D) mask effect using the compensating mask. Methods of compensating for a 3-D mask effect using a compensating mask may include generating a first kernel corresponding to a normal mask used for forming a minute pattern, generating a second kernel corresponding to a compensating mask, mixing the first kernel corresponding to the normal mask with the second kernel corresponding to the compensating mask, and generating a multi-optical system kernel corresponding to mixing the first kernel and the second kernel.
Abstract:
Provided is pants having a body-shaping function including; an elastic fabric included in the pants, and having a boundary that is partially fixed on the pants to elastically support hips of a wearer; and a hip-up band fixed on the elastic fabric to push the hips up so as to make contours of the hips more voluminous or compression bands on lower side portions of the elastic fabric in order to compress thighs of the wearer so as to make the thighs look thin, or a pair of pads having predetermined thicknesses and disposed on the elastic fabric to make the hips of the wearer look more attractive. Therefore, since the elastic fabric is integrally fixed in the pants for shaping the hips, the conventional girdle is not required. In addition, since the girdle in the pants only compresses the hips, it does not affect blood circulation around the belly, and is easily wearable. Also, the contours of the hips look more attractive due to the pads.
Abstract:
A touch screen display device and a driving method of the same are provided. The touch screen display device includes a touch screen display panel including a plurality of first sensing lines that extend in a first direction, a plurality of second sensing lines that extend in a second direction and cross the first direction, and a plurality of touch sensing elements respectively arranged at areas where the first sensing lines and the second sensing lines cross each other; and a read-out unit that receives output signals of the respective first sensing lines and second sensing lines, reading at least one sensing position, and outputting one of the at least one read sensing positions as a touch position, wherein if the number of sensing positions of the current frame is equal to or greater than two, the read-out unit compares the at least two sensing positions of the current frame with a touch position of the previous frame, and outputs the sensing position that is closest to the touch position of the previous frame as a touch position of the current frame.
