Abstract: A computer server system comprises a communications module; a processor coupled with the communications module; and a memory coupled to the processor and storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to obtain an indication of scheduled access to a first node class of a shared resource; determine that a second node class of the shared resource is available; and schedule access to the second node class of the shared resource in place of the scheduled access to the first node class of the shared resource.

Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for delivering audible alerts are described. In one aspect, an event for generating an audible alert for a user is detected. In response to detection of the event for generating the audible alert, it is determined whether an authorized audible interface device is within a threshold distance of the user based on a location of the user and a location of one or more authorized audible interface devices. In response to determining that an audible interface device is within the threshold distance of the user, alert instructions for the audible interface device are generated. The alert instructions cause the audible interface device to generate the audible alert in accordance with alert data provided in the alert instructions. The alert instructions are sent to the audible interface device over a wireless network via a communication module.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for automatically providing a lending offer for loyalty points based on a customer account analysis. One example method includes initiating an offer analysis for a customer account associated with a particular customer and storing an account balance and a point deficit balance. The offer analysis determines whether to provide an offer for a point loan, and is based on profile information of the customer, a current point balance, and a reward identified from the loyalty account. If an offer is to be provided, an offer for a loan of points equal to the difference between the current point balance of a loyalty account and the point value cost of the reward is transmitted to a client device of the customer. If accepted, the current point balance and the point deficit are both incremented by the amount of the offer.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: receiving, via a client device, a request to process an order for value storage tokens, the request indicating at least one token provider and order parameters defining at least one denomination and a quantity of value storage tokens to be associated with the at least one denomination; establishing a communication connection with a server system associated with the at least one token provider through an application programming interface (API) for the at least one token provider; generating one or more API calls for requesting to obtain digital representations of the value storage tokens associated with the order; and receiving the digital representations of the value storage tokens associated with the order.

Abstract: A processor-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: configuring, by a processor, a value transfer card to be associated with a default currency account and one or more foreign currency accounts; receiving, by the processor, input including a selection of at least one of the one or more foreign currency accounts and a card control setting to be applied for the value transfer card in connection with the selected at least one foreign currency account; detecting, by the processor, a first transaction initiated using the value transfer card, wherein the detecting includes receiving a request to process the first transaction in a first currency associated with the selected at least one foreign currency account; determining, by the processor in real-time, that the first transaction results in violation of the card control setting for the value transfer card; and in response to determining that the first transaction results in violation of the card control setting for the value transfer card: querying, by the processor in real-time, an exchange rates database to obtain a current exchange rate between the first currency associated with the selected at least one foreign currency account and a second currency associated with a second one of the currency accounts; and processing the first transaction using the second currency account and the current exchange rate.

Abstract: A server device, system, method, and for controlling access to project resources is disclosed. The disclosure includes a processor, and a communications module and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to generate a plurality of zones for a project, each zone defining a set of access rights to: i) a database; and ii) at least one tool. The processor configures each set of access rights to allow a proxy service to access the zones, and receives, from a client device and via the proxy service, an access query to access at least one zone. The processor provides the client device access to, via the proxy service, the at least one dataset and at least one tool of the at least one zone.

Abstract: Computing platforms, methods, and storage media for executing data processing tasks are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive a plurality of serially executable software object tasks; obtain thread data associated with a plurality of available threads and machine data associated with a plurality of available machines; distribute the plurality of serially executable software object tasks for parallel execution via the plurality of available threads and on the plurality of available machines; and obtain and store shared thread data for the plurality of available threads, such that first thread status data associated with a first thread from the plurality of available threads is made available to a second thread from the plurality of available threads. Executing software tasks in parallel, even when the tasks were not designed to be executed in parallel, increases speed and execution of the software tasks, which uses less processing power and less memory compared to known approaches.

Abstract: In an aspect a computer-implemented method is described. The method may include: causing a point-of-sale terminal processing a transaction to display a machine-readable code, the machine-readable code encoding a web address; receiving a request from a device that scanned the machine-readable code, the request received at the web address and the request including data; determining, based on data encoded in the machine-readable code and data included in the request, that the transaction may be processed using a value-added service; and in response to determining that the transaction may be processed using the value-added service, enabling completion of the transaction using the value-added service.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for expanding a data transfer framework are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: provide an ETL framework comprising a plurality of ETL modules and comprising code including variables; obtain a configuration file including data values to replace the variables for executing selected ETL modules, and including external command data configured to execute a new data transformation external to and absent from the ETL framework, the external command data including a reference to an external module generated in relation to an external interface; and execute the one or more selected ETL modules based on the code, the data values and the external command data. Exemplary implementations provide a flexible and expandable ETL framework that enable a new type of data transformation that is not currently supported by the framework, without having to modify the framework. The framework may impart native properties and characteristics of the framework to the external module.
