    摘要: The present invention provides a reversibly immortalized mammalian liver cell line, especially CYNK-1 (deposited with International Patent Organism Depository, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, address: AIST Tsukuba Central 6, 1-1, Higashi 1-Chome, Tsukuba-shi, Ibaraki-ken, 305-8566 Japan, deposited date: Mar. 10, 2004, accession number: FERM BP-08657) comprising an immortalizing gene interposed between a pair of site-specific recombination sequences and a suicide gene in the outside of the pair of site-specific recombination sequences, characterized in that the suicide gene can exhibit its function after excision of the pair of site-specific recombination sequences, or passage cell line thereof; a mammalian liver cell obtained by excising the immortalizing gene from the reversibly immortalized mammalian liver cell line or passage cell line thereof; and use of these cells. By utilizing the reversibly immortalized mammalian liver cell line of the present invention enables the obtainment of the number of the liver cells and utilization as materials for artificial liver reactors and cell preparations.

    摘要: An electrophotographic image forming apparatus to which a cartridge is detachably mountable for forming an image on a recording medium. The apparatus includes a main body electrical contact member having a main body electrical contact electrically connected to a cartridge electrical contact to supply electric power to an electric power supplied member of the cartridge when the cartridge is mounted on the apparatus main body. The main body electrical contact is movable relative to the apparatus main body. The apparatus also includes an electrical contact cover member having an exposed portion for exposing the main body electrical contact, and covering the main body electrical contact member, and attached to the main body electrical contact member so that the exposed portion is movable relative to the main body electrical contact member. The electrical contact cover member is moved so that the two contacts are electrically connected together in the exposed portion.

    摘要: The image heating apparatus for heating an image formed on a recording material includes a heater, a supporting member for supporting the heater, a flexible rotatable member rotated while contacting with the heater, and a backup member contacting with the rotatable member. The recording material passes between the rotatable member and the backup member, and upstream of the heater of the supporting member with respect to the direction of movement of the recording material, there are provided a protruding portion protruding more toward the backup member side than the surface of contact between the heater and the rotatable member, and a groove portion provided between the protruding portion and the heater and depressed more than the surface of contact of the heater with the rotatable member, and a lubricant is contained in the groove portion. Thereby, the driving torque of the rotatable member can be suppressed.
