摘要: The invention generally relates to an integrated head up displaying (HUD) device including a housing that houses an active-matrix image projecting system and its accompanying electronics, and an optical combiner (for providing a see-through image thereon) connected to the housing via a retractable arm attached at one end to the main body and holds the HUD optical panel at its other end. In particular, the telescopically retractable arm allows the assembly to extend or retract for a desirable combiner height. Further, the LED backlighting array is placed within a reflective light chamber which is lined with a safe, light-weight, low cost, specular, reflective sheet for high reflectivity. The non-conductive, reflective sheet also covers the LED printed circuit board.

摘要: A rack for comestible fluid dispensing containers used in a comestible fluid dispensing system. The rack is expandable and/or adjustable in some embodiments to enable an assembler or user to change the capacity of the rack as desired. The racks can be stackable upon one another and can have supports for supporting comestible fluid containers in the rack. In some embodiments, a rail and bracket assembly is employed to facilitate adjustment of the position of fluid dispensing components on the rail. The rail and bracket assembly can be employed on a comestible fluid container rack or in other locations.

摘要: A skid landing gear for a helicopter, in which the directional stiffnesses of the cross members of the skid landing gear have been de-coupled from one another, such that optimization of the longitudinal stiffness of the cross members may be performed independently of the optimization of the vertical stiffness and fatigue life of the cross members. In order to de-couple the stiffnesses in the skid type landing gear, two approaches are employed. In the first approach, the skid landing gear has non-symmetric-section cross members and/or distribution of different materials within the cross-section for de-coupling the vertical stiffness of the cross members from the longitudinal stiffness, such that placement of the ground resonance frequency may be optimized, while retaining the vertical stiffness properties essential for optimizing vertical energy attenuation and fatigue life. In the second approach, mounting devices are employed that provide compliance in selected directions, thereby de-coupling the directional stiffnesses.

摘要: Apparatus is provided for processing an analysis slide in a chemical analyzer which is particularly suitable for performing both endpoint and rate analyses. The slide-processing apparatus comprises a slide transfer mechanism for selectively transferring analysis slides between an incubator and a read station. The incubator includes a temperature-controlled chamber having a rotor disposed in a horizontal plane therein comprising slide-holding members adapted to support each of a plurality of analysis slides at individual stations. Each of the individual stations may be selectively positioned to a transfer location wherein the slide carried by the rotor is accessible for removal. The slide transfer mechanism accesses the slide at the transfer location, removes the slide from the incubator, and delivers the slide to the read station. Following analysis at the read station, the slide is returned by the slide transfer mechanism to the incubator if the slide is being employed for rate analysis. If the slide is being used for endpoint analysis, the slide is discarded through a diverter portion of the slide transfer mechanism.

摘要: An apparatus and method for cauterizing biological tissue while providing isolation from surrounding absorbing tissue and fluid media. The device is comprised of a probe having a special window through which an infrared laser beam is directed to cauterize the biological tissue. The device is comprised of an infrared laser beam generator, a control circuit for controlling the intensity and duration of the laser beam and an articulated arm for directing the laser beam to the probe. The probe is comprised of a hollow, laser light guide tube having an infrared transparent window in its tip which permits the tip to be brought into contact with biological tissue such as vascular tissue to be cauterized while excluding the surrounding absorbing tissue from the effects of the beam. The probe may also include an adjacent endoscopic viewing tube and accessory tube to provide fluid, suction and optical illumination at the vicinity of the window.

摘要: Disclosed are, inter alia, methods, apparatus, data structures, computer-readable media, mechanisms, and means for supporting a large number of virtual local area networks (VLANS) in a bridged network. Packets are received that include 802.1Q Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) identifiers (VIDs). However, rather than accessing the VLAN forwarding information directly based on the VID as conventionally performed, the VLAN forwarding information to use for a particular packet is determined based on an interface (e.g., virtual or physical interface, port, MPLS label, GRE tunnel or other abstraction of the interface). In other words, the interface associated with the packet identifies a context for determining the VLAN forwarding information based on the VID included in the packet. Therefore, network bridging devices can support more VLANs than that imposed by the 4096 possible values of a VID.

摘要: A system and method is provided for rate limiting network traffic flow of an untrusted application. A master module in a server environment manages network traffic flow restrictions. A slave module executes client applications in the server environment. A services module in the server environment executes a trusted application to validate the client application to the master module. A traffic restriction module on the master module sets network traffic restrictions when validation has not been received for the client application on the slave blade, and receives client application validations from the trusted application to unrestrict network traffic flow for the client application on the slave blade.

摘要: An adjunct network device includes several ports, an uplink interface, and an adjunct forwarding engine coupled to the ports and the uplink interface. A first port is configured to receive a packet, which includes a destination address. The adjunct forwarding engine is configured to send the packet to the uplink interface if the destination address is not associated with any of the ports. The packet is sent to one of the ports if the destination address is associated with the one of the ports.
