    Abstract: An optical module for connecting a photoelectric conversion device on a substrate to a ferrule connected to an optical fiber includes a body configured to be mounted on the substrate, a first lens disposed on the body at a side thereof connectable to the ferrule, a second lens disposed on the body at a side thereof facing the substrate, and a core disposed in the body between the first lens and the second lens, wherein a refractive index of the core is higher than a refractive index of the body.

    Abstract: A clip for keeping a first ferrule and a second ferrule in contact with each other includes a base member, one or more spring sections formed at the base member and configured to apply an elastic force to the first ferrule in a contact direction in which the first ferrule and the second ferrule come in contact with each other, and one or more engaging sections formed at the base member and configured to have higher rigidity in the contact direction than in other directions, wherein the engaging sections are configured to engage with the second ferrule.

    Abstract: An optical waveguide module includes an optical waveguide sheet including multiple optical waveguides, and a light-emitting device and a light-receiving device each positioned over a surface of the optical waveguide sheet. At least one of the optical waveguides includes a first mirror, a second mirror, and a slit. The first mirror is configured to reflect light entering the corresponding optical waveguide from its first end to the light-receiving device or to reflect light emitted from the light-emitting device toward the first end of the corresponding optical waveguide. The second mirror is configured to reflect light entering the corresponding optical waveguide from its second end toward the surface of the optical waveguide sheet. The slit is provided between the second mirror and the second end of the corresponding optical waveguide. The corresponding optical waveguide is discontinuous across the slit.

    Abstract: A current sensor includes semi-annular first and second magnetic cores, first and second sensors, and a differential output part. The first magnetic core is provided around a wire in which an electric current flows and includes a pair of first magnetic core parts each having a quarter annular shape. The first sensor is provided in the gap between the first magnetic core parts and detects a magnetic flux. The second magnetic core is provided around the wire and includes a pair of second magnetic core parts each having a quarter annular shape. The first and second magnetic cores form an annular magnetic core. The second sensor is provided in the gap between the second magnetic core parts and detects a magnetic flux. The differential output part outputs the differential output of the outputs of the first and second sensors.
