    Abstract: An optical module for connecting a ferrule for connecting an optical fiber and a photoelectric transducer mounted on a substrate includes first lenses, second lenses, and a dummy lens. The first lenses are provided on a first side of the optical module to which the ferrule is to be connected. The second lenses and the dummy lens are provided on a second side of the optical module facing a surface of the substrate. The second lenses and the dummy lens are aligned on the same line. An image of the dummy lens is reflected from a mirror to be projected onto a plane on the first side of the optical module.

    Abstract: A pull part for coupling to a connector includes a latch configured to be coupled to a housing of the connector and a tab configured to be coupled to the latch, wherein the latch has two support parts, a beam, and connecting portions, the beam connecting the two support parts, the connecting portions being situated between the support parts and the beam, and the two support parts configured to be attached to the housing, wherein the tab includes a body and a handle, the body having connection grooves formed at one side thereof and having the handle at an opposite side thereof, and wherein the connecting portions situated between the support parts and the beam are inserted into the connection grooves so as to couple the latch and the tab to each other.

    Abstract: An optical module includes a first ferrule, a second ferrule, a clip for holding the first ferrule and the second ferrule together, a board including a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element, an optical waveguide connecting the board to the first ferrule, an outer case forming a housing of the optical module and including a protrusion, and an inner case disposed in the outer case and to which the clip is attached. A pressing surface is formed at an end of the inner case. A first end of the board is in contact with the protrusion and a second end of the board is in contact with the pressing surface such that the board is clamped between the protrusion and the pressing surface.
