摘要： The present invention is directed to methods for crystallizing macrophage colony stimulating factor (M-CSF) and to a crystalline M-CSF produced thereby. The present invention is also directed to methods for designing and producing M-CSF agonists and antagonists using information derived from the crystallographic structure of M-CSF. The invention is also directed to methods for screening M-CSF agonists and antagonists. In particular, the tank has a cylindrical base, the top of which can be closed off in light-tight fashion by a wide funnel member extending right across it. The funnel member fits into the base by a modified latching bayonet fitting constituted by cooperating formations on the inside of the walls of the base member near their top and on the outside of the funnel member.

摘要： A surgical system includes one or more arms defining a passageway therethrough. The arm includes a proximal portion configured for positioning externally of a patient's body and a distal portion configured for positioning within an internal body cavity. The distal portion includes first and second articulatable segments spaced apart from one another and capable of independent articulation between a substantially straight configuration and an articulated configuration. A first articulation assembly is coupled to the proximal portion of the one arm and is transitionable between a first state and a second state for articulating the first articulatable segment between the substantially straight configuration and the articulated configuration. A second articulation assembly is coupled to the proximal portion of the arm and is configured to move between a plurality of positions for articulating the second articulatable segment between the substantially straight configuration and the articulated configuration.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a surgical access system that includes a cannula assembly adapted for removable positioning within a percutaneous tissue tract, and an obturator assembly removably positionable within the cannula assembly. The cannula assembly includes a cannula housing, a cannula sleeve, and first engagement structure, and the obturator assembly includes an obturator housing, an obturator sleeve, and second engagement structure. The first engagement structure and the second engagement structure are correspondingly dimensioned such that rotation of the obturator assembly in a first direction effectuates corresponding rotation of the cannula assembly to facilitate advancement of the cannula assembly through tissue.
