    摘要: A method is presented for determining the concentration of an analyte in a liquid sample using a reagent system. The reaction of the sample with the reagent system results in a change of the quantity of a fluorophore, the quantity of the fluorophore correlating with the concentration of the analyte, a characteristic measurement variable for the quantity of the fluorophore being measured, and the concentration of the analyte being determined using an evaluation algorithm on the basis of the measurement variable. The reagent system is integrated in an analysis system and the fluorescence lifetime of the fluorophore is used in the ascertainment of the concentration of the analyte.

Said infusion system comprises a cannula support unit which is properly attached to a patient's body, an infusion cannula to be inserted into the patient's body, and a pump unit that can be connected to the cannula support unit and encompasses a pump, a battery for supplying power to the pump, and a storage volume for the medicament that is to be administered. The pump unit and the cannula support unit are adapted to one another in such a way that the pump unit rests against the cannula support unit once the pump unit has been connected to the cannula support unit. The disclosed infusion system also comprises a charging station for the pump unit in order to recharge the battery of the pump unit.

    摘要: Analysis device for determining an analyte in vivo in the body of a patient, having a measuring probe with a hollow needle (18) which can pierce through the skin. Light is passed through the hollow needle (18) and into the body via an optical fiber (22) travelling in the hollow needle (18). The light transported in the optical fiber (22) is modified in the measuring probe (3), the modification being characteristic of the presence of the analyte. A measurement and evaluation unit (4) measures the change to extract information concerning the presence of the analyte in the body. The hollow needle (18) is permeable, at least in a partial section of its length, serving as a measuring section (30) which can be inserted into the skin so that interstitial liquid may penetrate through the hollow needle wall to a measuring section of the optical fiber extending in the hollow needle (18) and the modification of the light characteristic of the presence of the analyte is effected through interaction with the interstitial liquid in the measuring section.

    摘要: Analytical system for monitoring patient blood concentration of a substance to be analyzed, comprising analysis-elements (12) containing reagents and an evaluation instrument comprising a measurement device to measure a change resulting from a reaction of the analyte with the reagents in order to determine, from the measurement values so obtained, analytical data representing element analysis data C.sub.A.In order to allow continuous monitoring of the analyte with good accuracy and a reduced number of invasive sample generation steps it is proposed that the analytical system further comprises (i) a sensor unit (2) portable on the patient body, said sensor unit (2) including a sensor (7) borne on the patient body for the direct and reagent-free measurement of a parameter correlating with the concentration of the analyzed substance and a transmitter for the wireless transmission of data signals; and (ii) a sensor-analysis means to ascertain sensor-analysis data C.sub.S from the measurement values of said parameter measured by said sensor; and the evaluation instrument further comprises a receiver to receive in wireless manner the data signals from the sensor unit (2), calibration means to calibrate the sensor-analysis data C.sub.S on the basis of the element-analysis data C.sub.A and (iii) a data memory for the long-term storage of analytical data, whereby said evaluation instrument forms a central unit (3) of an integrated analysis-element/sensor monitoring system (1).
