摘要: An image forming apparatus that can prevent the generation of filming with the simplest possible configuration even if a plurality of photosensitive member linear velocities are provided and the AC frequency of the charge apparatus is fixed. A charge apparatus that charges by uniformly superimposing on a photosensitive member an alternate current bias voltage with a fixed frequency over a direct current bias voltage as the charge bias voltage; an exposure apparatus that exposes the surface of the charged photosensitive member based on image data, and writes a latent image; a developing apparatus that supplies toner to and makes visible the latent image formed on the surface of the photosensitive member; a transfer apparatus that transfers the visible image on the photosensitive member to a transfer medium; and a cleaning apparatus that cleans the surface of the photosensitive member after transfer. The image forming apparatus further comprises a filming removal mode that removes filming on the surface of the photosensitive member; and the filming removal mode is selected corresponding to the plurality of photosensitive member linear velocities.

In this image forming apparatus, a value, which is obtained by dividing a capacitance [pF] between the axis member in the rotating body and the substrate in the latent image supporting body by the length [mm] in the direction perpendicular to the direction of the surface migration of the charging member, is set to be at least 0.35 [pF/mm], the capacitance being obtained when, instead of the latent image supporting body, the substrate in the latent image supporting body is caused to face the charging member.

摘要: The invention provides an apparatus, method, and program for producing small prints, in which function of using an input character string for transfer at different timing is further strengthened to improve usability of the user. In the invention, already produced input data includes information on the input character string already transferred to a print medium. Pieces of already produced input data are stored so that the number of pieces of already produced input data is not more than the upper limit number. In a series of processes starting from a direction for producing the print medium, the storage of the already produced input data is performed in the case of the first transfer for the input character string which is currently transferred. Call of the already produced input data is performed according to the user's selection from the pieces of stored already produced input data, and the character string concerning the called already produced input data is returned to the input character string to which input edit can be performed.
