Abstract: Operating a fire control system is described herein. One method includes receiving, at a gateway device, first operational data of a first format from a control panel, determining a model associated with the control panel based on the first operational data, wherein the model includes correlations between the first operational data and alarm information of a second format, receiving second operational data of the first format from the control panel, and determining alarm information of the second format associated with the second operational data based on the model.

One method includes: identifying that a device of the visual docking guidance system is non-responsive, determining which device is non-responsive, initiating start-up of one visual docking guidance system program selected from: a visual docking guidance system software program, a central computing system program, or an operating station program, selecting a digital twin data set corresponding to the device of the visual docking guidance system that was non-responsive, wherein the set includes parameter data that was customized by a user of the visual docking guidance system and is particular to the device of the visual docking guidance system that was non-responsive, and sending the digital twin parameter data to the device of the visual docking guidance system that was non-responsive to update one or more parameters stored in association with the visual docking guidance system program.

Abstract: A system and method for monitoring performance of an industrial process includes an input port for receiving signals representative of one or more performance parameters generated by the industrial process, a user interface including a display and a controller that is operably coupled with the input port and the user interface. The controller is configured to repeatedly receive signals over time via the input port representative of the one or more performance parameters of the industrial process and to generate a plurality of snapshots, wherein each snapshot includes a graphical representation of the one or more performance parameters of the industrial process at a corresponding time. The controller is configured to generate an animatable heat map including two or more of the plurality of snapshots arranged temporally and to display the animatable heat map on the display.

Abstract: A method of controlling access through a door may include storing a user's digital identity and a user's access policy in a memory of the user's mobile device, which may use the stored user's digital identity and the stored user's access policy to determine whether the user is authorized for access through the door and to make an access decision of YES or NO. The access decision may be communicated to the reader, which controls operation of a door lock in accordance with whether the access decision was YES or NO.

A method, includes creating a firmware upgrade package for a number of gateways of a number of fire alarm systems wherein each gateway has gateway operating firmware, panel connectivity firmware, and management firmware and wherein the firmware upgrade package has multiple parts, creating a firmware upgrade profile having information indicating the applicability of each of the multiple parts of the firmware upgrade package to one of the gateway operating firmware, panel connectivity firmware, and management firmware, comparing the firmware upgrade profile to a gateway usage profile of a particular gateway wherein the gateway usage profile contains information indicating usage characteristics for the gateway operating firmware, panel connectivity firmware, and management firmware, and selecting one or more of the multiple parts of the firmware upgrade package to download.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for multi-level authentication for a fire control system are described herein. One system includes a first device configured to receive a request corresponding to an action to be performed regarding an electronic record generated for a fire control system and receive a first authentication form a first user for the action regarding the electronic record generated for the fire control system. The system is further comprised of one or more secondary devices configured to receive a notification of the request and a secondary authentication from at least one of a number of required users for the action regarding the electronic record to be performed. The system also includes a computing device configured to receive the first authentication from the first device and each of the secondary authentications from each of the one or more secondary devices and perform the action regarding the electronic record based on the first authentication received from the first device each of the secondary authentications received from each of the one or more secondary devices.

Abstract: An automatic master slave system and approach for coordinated control of a parameter, for example, a heating, ventilation and air conditioning condition, in an area of multiple spaces controlled by room controllers. Changing a layout of a zone/area in a building such as moving, adding or removing a door, increasing or splitting size of a room through movable walls, or by permanently removing partitions, changing offices to a conference room or vice versa, may occur. A size of a room may be altered within minutes, according to customer demand. For instance, rooms may be converted into a single room by removing partitions. The controllers that were controlling temperatures of the rooms independently earlier, may convert automatically into a master-slave configuration and now work together to control a larger room. If the large room is split into multiple rooms, the controllers may automatically revert to their previous configuration.
