    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of changing a frequency assignment (FA) status in an improved broadband wireless access system where terminals and base stations communicate with each other by using a plurality of FAs. The base station changes the status of one of secondary FA into the status of the pFA in order to adjust a load of the primary FA, and communicates with the terminal through the pFA of which status is changed. When a response is received from the terminal, the base station changes the status of the pFA and communicates with the pFA of the terminal through a new pFA. The status of a previous pFA between the base station and the terminal is changed into the status of the sFA, and a previous sFA is changed into the pFA, so that communication is performed through new FAs.

    摘要: A method of providing location information in a wireless communication system includes receiving a location information request message, including Location Based Service (LBS) control information, from a Base Station (BS), the LBS control information being information about a condition in which location information is reported, performing LBS measurement, and if the condition is satisfied, transmitting a location information response message, including location information collected through the LBS measurement, to the BS. In accordance with the present invention, in a wireless access system supporting LBS, LBS-related information can be reported irrespective of the state of a User Equipment (UE). In particular, in the case in which a UE is in an idle state, location information can be provided efficiently and rapidly.

    摘要: A load-reducing memory module includes a plurality of memory components such as DRAMs. The memory components are organized into sets or ranks such that they can be accessed simultaneously for the full data bit-width of the memory module. A plurality of load reducing switching circuits is used to drive data bits from a memory controller to the plurality of memory components. The load reducing switching circuits are also used to multiplex the data lines from the memory components and drive the data bits to the memory controller.
