摘要: To provide a portable electronic unit that can reduce power consumption. A high-frequency amplification circuit amplifies heart rate information received by an antenna and detects the information by means of a detection circuit. A gain control circuit controls a gain in a gain control amplification circuit in two steps in response to a level of a detection signal of the detection circuit. The gain control amplification circuit amplifies and outputs a detection signal from the detection circuit with a relevant gain. A comparator converts and outputs a digital signal into a waveform. The control circuit controls a display drive circuit and displays a heart rate on a display unit. The control circuit also controls a setup circuit every time the control circuit turns on the high-frequency amplification circuit and brings a gain in the gain control amplification circuit to a maximum value. The control circuit also divides the frequency of an output signal from the oscillation circuit with a frequency divider circuit. The control circuit then counts a time signal thus obtained for timing operations to display time on the display unit.

摘要: For reducing the load on a server as much as possible during transfer of data from the server to a terminal, each terminal is capable of playing out a network game in cooperation with a local network game terminal. To this end, the local network game terminal and one or more other network game terminals are grouped in the local network game terminal. Additionally, group information is generated with which the game server 1 can recognize the grouped terminals as one user group, and representative terminal information is also generated with which other network game terminals in the same user group can recognize that the local network game terminal is the representative terminal. Bi-directional communications, including transfer of the data received from the game server 1 and the representative terminal information, are made with other network game terminal(s) in the user group.

摘要: To provide a power supply apparatus that replaces a dry battery by detecting electric field energy in a free space, rectifying the energy, extracting the energy as electric power, and accumulating the electric power. In particular, there is provided a power supply apparatus that is useful for a portable electronic equipment. An electromagnetic energy conversion unit collects a radio wave propagating in the air and converts collected electromagnetic energy into electric power. A rectifying unit generates electric power having a DC waveform by rectifying electric power having an AC waveform and charges the rectified electric power having the DC waveform into a secondary battery. An electric load is supplied with the rectified electric power having the DC waveform or with electric power having a DC waveform discharged from the secondary battery.

摘要: A tetrafluoroethylene polymer is produced by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene in the presence of an aqueous medium and a polymerization initiator, wherein the content of impurities (e.g. a saturated compound such as CH2F2 or CHF3 and an unsaturated compound such as CF2═CFH, CF2═CH2, CF2═CFCl or CF2═CHCl) in the tetrafluoroethylene is not more than 100 ppm. By this method, PTFE which is uniform and stretchable at a high stretch ratio and which is excellent in the fibrillation property and has a high break strength, can be obtained.

摘要: A measuring circuit capable of performing a high-accuracy measurement by eliminating inductive influence from an ambient noise voltage source. An electric circuit including a signal circuit of high impedance, a wiring conductor and a meter is provided with a shielding resistance member having a significantly lower resistance than that of the signal circuit in dependence on an inter-terminal voltage of the high impedance signal circuit and a shield formed of an electrically conductive material disposed in association with the wiring conductor. A voltage distribution function of the shielding resistance member is matched equally to that of an inter-terminal voltage distribution function of the signal circuit. By measuring a line voltage through the medium of the high impedance signal circuit shielded by the shielding resistor, high accuracy measurement can be realized without undergoing adverse influences of parasitic capacitance and induction.

摘要: To easily adjust an indication reference of a battery life. A CPU generates a maximum voltage value necessary for the operations of all functions of an electronic watch as a reference voltage of an analog quantity, inputs the voltage value to an A/D converting circuit to convert it into a digital value, stores the digital value outputted from the A/D converting circuit as a reference value corresponding to a voltage value necessary for each processing mode of the electronic watch into an EEPROM, converts the voltage value as an analog quantity of a battery into a digital value, and compares the digital value with the foregoing reference value to determine and indicate the battery life.

摘要: To reduce a dispersion in a sensitivity of a magnetism detecting circuit driving, by current, a magnetism sensor comprising magnetism resistance elements in a bridge constitution to a dispersion in a sensitivity of a magnetism sensor. An electronic azimuth meter is provided with EEPROM and drive current set values are previously stored to EEPROM. The drive current set values are calculated by a predetermined calculation by measuring bridge resistance of a magnetism sensor of the electronic azimuth meter. In detecting magnetism by the magnetism sensor, CPU controls a sensor drive circuit based on the drive current set values stored to EEPROM. Thereby, the sensor drive circuit supplies a magnetism sensor with optimum drive current in accordance with a bridge resistance value thereof.

摘要: An oscillating means having an oscillator outputs a reference clock, and a frequency-dividing means sequentially frequency-dividing the reference clock into a half frequency. A temperature correction data creating means detects a temperature, calculates logical delaying/advancing data for a temperature change, and outputs the logical delaying/advancing data in every predetermined period. A temperature correction data input means receives the delaying/advancing data outputted by the temperature correction data creating means and outputs the logical delaying/advancing data to a logical delaying/advancing means. The logical delaying/advancing means operates a state of the frequency-dividing means in every predetermined period on the basis of the set logical delaying/advancing data to control the period of the frequency-divided output signal of the frequency-dividing means so as to be coincident with a desired period. Owing to this temperature correction data input means, it becomes possible to separate the temperature correction data creating means conventionally incorporated.
