Abstract:
A paving screed comprises a base screed and extension screeds each of which is support via an extension guiding structure at a guidance fixed in the base screed such that each extension screed can be extended and retracted. A multiple point suspension is provided between the extension guiding structure and the guidance. A frame carrying the sole plate of the extension screed A is arranged below the extension guiding structure. Substantially vertical adjustment assemblies make it possible to adjust the height position of the frame via drives. A lateral inclination adjustment assembly is provided structurally separated from the adjustment assemblies either for the frame or within the frame for the sole plate of the extension screed.
Abstract:
The present invention describes a road finisher for laying a paving material, comprising a material bunker for paving material and a spray jet module. In order to increase the spray carrying capacity in a structurally simple manner, it is suggested that a reservoir unit comprising a spray reservoir and a paving material reservoir should be arranged in the material bunker.
Abstract:
A method of laying a finishing layer with a road finisher F having a screed B, whereby the screed, equipped with a tamper device T and a smoothing plate, at least compacts and superficially smoothes the finishing layer, and the stroke and/or the frequency of the tamper device T are remotely varied for laying a finishing layer with a paving thickness and/or laying rate V which vary over the pave width and transversely to the working direction R within the pave width. A road finisher having a screed suitable for implementing the method set forth above wherein the road finisher or screed has an adjustment device for the remotely actuated local variation of at least the stroke of the tamper device within the pave width.
Abstract:
A road finisher F for producing a continuous sprayed carpet T of a bonding agent on a planum has a spraying system S on a vehicle having at least two spraying facilities 11, 11′, 14, 14′ which are located offset to each other in the and laterally to the traveling motion direction R and a control device which operates the spraying facilities using a method such that during a traveling motion of the vehicle a sprayed carpet T is produced with front and rear boundaries V, H which are continuous over the width of the sprayed carpet and which are parallel to a respective reference line L which is placed on the planum in front of the spraying facility which is the frontmost in traveling motion direction. The sprayed carpet T is produced such that each spraying facility 11, 11′, 14, 14′ first is activated or deactivated depending on the traveling motion with a predetermined distance from the or when reaching the respective reference line L.

Abstract:
A road finisher has a terminal box from which an electric supply circuit originates to supply electric current to at least one electric heating element for heating work components. A device for supervising the function of the at least one electric heating element includes an induction coil at the terminal box to sense current in the supply circuit and an indicator circuit, preferably of a light emitting diode, is connected to the induction coil for detecting and indicating a voltage induced in the induction coil by the current flowing in the supply circuit of a heating element. In a preferred embodiment, a cable gland is attached to the control box through which a current supply wire of the electric supply circuit passes, and an induction coil is located in the cable gland to sense the current in the supply wire.
Abstract:
A delivery for a sheet-processing machine for keeping the extent thereof required downline from the delivery pile as short as possible, includes a frame and grippers revolvable, during operation, along a gripper path within the frame. The grippers seize sheets at a location on the gripper path and drag the sheet along sections of the gripper path in a transport direction. A first switching element is provided, for defining a first end of a first one of the sections of the gripper path located downline with respect to the transport direction. A second switching element defines a second end of a second section of the gripper path located downline with respect to the end of the first section. The first switching element is provided on the frame, and the second switching element is provided on a guide part fixed to the frame, and serves for determining a section of a course of the gripper path.
Abstract:
A delivery of a sheet-processing printing machine has a sheet-pile stacking station whereon a safety guard is provided which is suspended from a pivot pin and, at least during a regular sheet-pile forming process, provides a view of a downline top edge of the sheet pile, as viewed in the processing direction. In this regard, the safety guard is constructed so that it is swingable together and swingable apart in the manner of a hinge, via a hinge pin disposed parallel to the pivot pin; and a machine for processing flat printing materials, and a sheet-processing printing machine, respectively, equipped with the delivery.
