Abstract:
An apparatus for blow moulding of bottles in plastic material comprising a rotating turntable provided with moulds (4) on its outer circumference. Each mould (4) has three moulding forms (5, 6, 7) that can be controlled separately during the parison blowing operations so as not to blow those forms that may not have been supplied with parisons (12).
Abstract:
A mould holding cross member (9) according to the invention comprises a support base (91) a suitable to compress the mould (S) and more projecting, in the mould closing direction, than the ends (90) with which the cross member is connected to the moving columns (6) of the press on which it is fitted. The base (91) is connected to the rest of the cross member by a narrow portion (99) which extends in the central area of the base and between the projections of the hinging areas (7, 8) of the double toggle of the press on the press bed (2), and substantially not outside those projections. In this way the pressures are more uniformly distributed on the mould (S). The present invention also concerns a press fitted with a cross member (9) as defined above.
Abstract:
A plastic preforms (5) moulding device and process comprising an injection mould, containing a plurality of injection cavities, an arm (3) for extracting the preforms (5) from the mould, equipped with guillotine-like gripping elements, which moves between the existing space between the half moulds when in the open position in order to grasp the preforms and the external position, a cooling turret (6), with the faces housing a group of cups (7) for the conditioning of the preforms (5), which effects a rotational movement around a horizontal axis and a vertical translation movement between the high position under the extraction arm to receive the preforms and the low position corresponding to the extraction table of the preforms (5), on which are indented longitudinal slots with teeth shaped constrictions in order to grasp the preforms under the ring (9) and to extract them from the cups (7).
Abstract:
In the molding of parisons made of thermoplastic material for making bottles for containing effervescent beverages, resistance to bursting of the bottles is increased considerably the gasket (4) between the injector nozzle (3) and the injection cavity (1) is made of thermally insulating material and has a shape that is complementary to the shape of the cavity (1) for housing the end of the injector (3) in the injection cavity (1). Cutting of the sprue in specific conditions increases still more the resistance to bursting.
Abstract:
A device (1) for conveying objects (2) having at least one open end (200) (for example plastic bottles and corresponding semi-finished products throughout their production process), including a picking-up and withholding apparatus (20) suitable for gripping and withholding the object from inside the open end (200), and further including a protective sliding sleeve (7, 70) suitable for covering and protecting a pre-determined portion of the object (2) in the proximity of the open end (200) is characterised in that the actuation for picking up or releasing the object (2) by the picking-up and withholding apparatus (20) is independent of the movements of sliding of the sleeve (7, 70), which can be raised or lowered, the object (2) at the same time continuing to be firmly gripped. Device (1) is suitable to be used on a chain conveyor. A method for using device (1) is also provided.
Abstract:
A fixing device for moulds for plastic articles, where a pair of half-moulds (3, 4) in which a force plug (11) can be inserted, comprises at least one tie rod (6) for keeping the two half-moulds in a closed position, the said tie rod being hinged, at one end, to the mobile half-mould and having a second end of a hammer-headed shape which hooks to two gripping jaws (60, 61). The tie rod (6) is hinged to a connecting rod which rotates on a pivot fixed to the resting base (14), which, in the movement of rotation, sets the tie rod (6) along the line corresponding to the centroid of the pressure forces produced during the moulding operation.
Abstract:
A nozzle, for the injection of molten plastics, includes a rear central portion terminating with a planar surface, and an outer annular element terminating with a corresponding planar surface on its rear side. The terminal planar surface of the central portion is situated in a more rearward position relative to the planar surface of the outer annular element. A first annular groove forms an acute angle between the outer edge of the rear portion and an inner surface of the outer annular element. A second annular groove, forming an acute angle, is provided in the rear portion. The two annular grooves open in opposite directions, and the bottoms of the respective grooves are located at substantially the same height of the nozzle.
Abstract:
A gripping head (1) comprises a supporting element (11), e.g. a horizontal plate, adapted to rotate about a first rotation axis (&alpha,-) with which two or more grippers (12) are pivotally associated, so that each gripper is adapted to rotate about a symmetry axis (β) thereof, said rotation axes being parallel to each other, and being the rotation motion of each gripper independent from the others. Therefore, each gripper is adapted to rotate about a symmetry axis (β) thereof and revolve about the rotation axis (α) of the supporting element with which they are pivotally associated. A preferred plant, comprising said gripping head (1), comprises a belt conveyor and a mechanical limb (2) with which said gripping head (1) is pivotally associated.
Abstract:
A coating system (1) for blown containers (9) made of plastic material, with high production rate and flexibility so as to allow an efficient coupling with the most advanced one-stage or blowing machines. Such coating system (1), despite its high production rate, envisages a compact global structure with low implementation costs and contained energy consumption. Along with the system, a corresponding coating process is described, which consists in the effective and rapid application of several paint layers on plastic containers (9).
Abstract:
A blowing mold with a cam control device for making undercuts related to the application of handles on a container made of plastic material, where the undercuts ensure that the handles are mechanically fixed to the container body and where the system has an independent actuation for each undercut.
