    摘要: Compositions having a curable unsaturated compound, an adhesion promoter and curing agent which have a peak exotherm of less than 50° C. are disclosed. The compositions when cured are flexible bioadhesives which are also disclosed. Non-curable diluents can be included in the compositions. Flexible bioadhesives formed on biological structures and having low peak exotherms upon curing of curable compositions to form the flexible bioadhesives are disclosed. Compositions having a curable unsaturated compound and a curing agent and a peak exotherm of less than 50° C. are included in the invention.

    摘要: A debris removal device for dual wheels on a vehicle provides an elongated flat member of adjustable length, which pivots 180° about a pivot pin atop a flat base. A slender cradle is provided on the upper end of the flat member. The base is placed on the ground and the flat member is rotated upward between the dual tires. The cradle then engages a foreign object wedged between the tires, and urges the object down and outward from the wedged position.

    摘要: A fabrication process for a trench type power semiconductor device includes forming inside spacers over a semiconductor surface. Using the spacers as masks, trenches with gates are formed in the semiconductor body. After removing the spacers, source implants are formed in the semiconductor body along the trench edges and are then driven. Insulation caps are then formed over the trenches. Outside spacers are next formed along the sides of the caps. Using these spacers as masks, the semiconductor surface is etched and high conductivity contact regions formed. The outside spacers are then removed and source and drain contacts formed. Alternatively, the source implants are not driven. Rather, prior to outside spacer formation a second source implant is performed. The outside spacers are then formed, portions of the second source implant etched, any remaining source implant driven, and the contact regions formed. The gate electrodes are either recessed below or extend above the semiconductor surface.

    摘要: An optical microresonator includes microcylinder and spiral resonant waveguide formed on the microcylinder that optically couples light from an optical source waveguide to the microcylinder and slows light propagating along the microcylinder. A coupling element, for example, a diffraction grating can be operative with the resonant waveguide structure and configured to meet a desired phase matching. A second microcylinder having a spiral resonant waveguide formed thereon can be positioned adjacent to the spiral resonant waveguide formed on the first microcylinder for coupling therewith. The spiral resonant waveguides on first and second microcylinders can be configured for slowing light propagating along the microcylinder.
