    Abstract: A removable chassis for a server rack includes two side walls, an accommodation space, and a carrier tray. The two side walls are on either side of the removable chassis, where each side wall includes a slide rail for sliding the removable chassis into or out of the server rack. The accommodation space is defined between the two sidewalls. The accommodation space is divided into a plurality of compartments by a plurality of dividers. The carrier tray is slidably attached to each compartment and held in place by friction. The carrier tray includes at least one recess for each removably receiving an electronic device.

    Abstract: A rack system for a server includes a number of server units, which includes first to the third sets of server units, voltage converter, first to third power supply circuits. The voltage converter receives and converters a three-phase alternating current (AC) power signal to provide first to third single-phase power signals. The first to the third sets of power supply circuits respectively provides firs to third direct current (DC) power signals according to the first to the third single-phase power signals. The first set to the third set of server units is respectively powered by first to the third DC power signals or respectively powered by first part, second part, and third part of the first to the third DC power signals.

    Abstract: A circuit card assembly includes a circuit card, a plurality of components disposed on a first surface of the circuit card in a shadow arrangement, and a plurality of air-cooled heat sink structures disposed on each of the components. Each of the plurality of heat sink structures comprises a plurality of impedance zones arranged in series substantially perpendicular to the airflow path, where the plurality of impedance zones comprise a first impedance zone having a first air impedance, and a second impedance zone having a second air impedance less than the first air impedance. Further, the plurality of zones in the plurality of heat sink structures are aligned so that the first impedance zone in one of the plurality of heat sink structures does not overlap with the first impedance zone in another of the plurality of heat sink structures, relative to the airflow path.

    Abstract: A computing device with a drive slot having an ear with a vertical receiving groove, a connector for engaging a corresponding connector of a hard disk drive (HDD), and a horizontal track with a pin insertion portion and a pin retaining portion. The computing device also includes a removable a HDD carrier for insertion into the drive slot having a bracket for securing the HDD and a track pin extending therefrom and configured to be inserted into the horizontal track via the pin insertion portion and configured to restrict the removable HDD carrier to horizontal motion when the track pin engages with the pin retaining portion. The HDD carrier includes a handle pivotably attached to the bracket with a guide pin for inserting into the vertical receiving groove and configured to alternate between a loading position and a locked position.
