摘要： In a wireless communication system dealing with a plurality of frequency bands such as 5.2 GHz band and 2.4 GHz band, without a disturbance from another wireless communication system or the like and abnormalities such as stop of a moving picture and disturbance of a picture, a large volume of data can be securely and smoothly transmitted on real time basis. In a frequency band (5.2 GHz band) communicable at higher transmission rates, unused radio channels free of a disturbing wave are detected in steps 101 to 103. In process routine 200, it is detected whether or not received field strengths exceed a threshold value in decreasing order from higher transmission rates on the detected radio channels. A communication is started at a transmission rate of which the received field strength reaches or exceeds the threshold value.

摘要： An optical head is fed to the innermost area of an optical disk, and then fed to the outside while a detector circuit measures the frequency of a read signal supplied from the optical head. When the frequency of the read signal changes to high frequency, a tracking servo is performed, and the read signal is analyzed to acquire positional information during the tracking servo operation. The tracking servo operation is disabled, and the optical head is fed to a target position based on the positional information.

摘要： A track jump control apparatus for a disc reproducing system having a transport unit for moving a pickup element that reads data recorded on the disc in the radial direction of the disc at a high speed. The system also has a detecting unit for detecting a moving direction of the pickup element unit based on a pick-up signal output from the pickup element while the pickup element moves in the radial direction of the disc, and a protection unit for stopping the pickup element moved by the transport unit when the pickup element is judged to be moving in a different direction from the direction moved by the transport unit. The apparatus has a measuring unit for measuring a pulse duration of the picked-up signal, which is continuously obtained from the pickup element while the pickup element moves in the radial direction of the disc at a high speed. The apparatus also has a control unit for inverting a detected result of the detecting unit when the pulse duration of the picked-up signal is beyond a specific limit based on the measured result of the measuring unit.

摘要： In an automatic focusing circuit of a video camera, automatic focusing operation is performed by a focus evaluating value formed in response to a video signal obtained by an image sensing circuit (4). A first focusing motor control circuit (15) controls the rotation of a focusing motor (3) so that a focusing lens (1) is once fixed in the position where the focus evaluating value takes the maximum value. A second focusing motor control circuit (17) changes the focusing motor (3), by a predetermined very small amount, to determine the slope of the focus evaluating value, which change is repeated until inversion of the slope, that is, the maximal point is detected. As a result, the position of the focusing lens is corrected at the maximal point of the focus evaluating value. When the correction amount exceeds a predetermined value, first automatic focusing operation by the first focusing motor control circuit (15) is resumed.

摘要： A tracking servo system for an optical-disc information reproducing apparatus includes (a) a light source for generating a light beam to scan a target track on an optical-disc wherein the information is stored as a series of pits arranged in the form of the track; (b) four photodetectors, arranged in two pairs with each pair intersecting the other and being disposed in a direction oblique to an image of the track for converting an image of the pit into respective electric signals; (c) a circuit for comparing the phases of the electric signals and for producing a tracking error signal ranging in accordance with the phase difference between the electric signals; and (d) a motor and lens for deflecting the light beam along a path perpendicular to the target track in response to the tracking error signal, whereby the light beam accurately scans the target track.
