The unbalance correction device of a propeller shaft is configured from a propeller shaft to which a damper is mounted, and a balance weight in which a primary weight plate part and an auxiliary weight plate part are formed continuously and integrally along a longitudinal direction, and a protruding piece is protrusively formed on a concave arced surface on a rear surface side of the primary weight plate part and from each corner part at four locations. The primary weight plate part is disposed in a non-mounted area of the damper at an axial direction end of the outer shaft with a longitudinal direction of the balance weight coinciding with an axial direction of the outer shaft, and the balance weight is configured such that only the protruding piece comes in contact with and is welded to an outer peripheral side face of the outer shaft.

    摘要: An object of the invention is to realize a gain monitoring method for an optical amplifier and an apparatus thereof, capable of detecting a gain for a signal light regardless of a noise light generated inside the optical amplifier. To this end, in the gain monitoring method according to the present invention, a part of a signal light input to an optical amplifier is branched as an input monitor light, and the input monitor light is modulated, and also a part of a light output from the optical amplifier is branched as an output monitor light, so that the modulated input monitor light and the output monitor light are multiplexed. Then, the multiplexed light is converted into an electrical signal, an interference component contained in the electrical signal is extracted, and a gain for the signal light in the optical amplifier is detected based on the interference component.

    摘要: A current is supplied to first and second electrically-conductive resistances located away from each other on a straight line defined on an electrically-insulating substrate in a method of making a printed wiring board. A contour of the substrate is formed along the straight line based on the detected resistance values. The method allows an increase in the resistance values of the first and second electrically-conductive resistances in response to reduction of the first and second electrically-conductive resistances, respectively. The resistance values are thus utilized to determine the contour of the electrically-insulating substrate. Any process of defining the contour can be finished based on the determination of the contour. This enables establishment of the contour as designed with a higher accuracy.
