摘要： An information record medium (1: DVD) having a record track (1a) recorded with at least video information is to be reproduced by a reproducing apparatus (S2), which has a read device (80) and reproduces at least video information while relatively moving the read device along the record track. In the information record medium, at least video information and control information (41: NAVI-PACK, 50: PCI, 51: DSI) comprising access information to access the video information are recorded on the record track such that the video and control informations are divided into a plurality of first data groups (30: VOBU), each of which is a unit able to be accessed by the reproducing apparatus and each of which comprises the video and control informations. In the information record medium, management information (PGCI) including (i) reproduction procedure information prescribing a reproduction procedure of the video information and (ii) a plurality of first search prohibit informations (202, 202a) each indicating a prohibition of a search operation by the reproducing apparatus for respective one of second data groups (61: PGC) each of which comprises a plurality of the first data groups to be reproduced continuously by the reproducing apparatus in accordance with the reproduction procedure information, is collectively recorded at one portion of the record track for each of the second data groups.

The signal process device divides record information (R) into a plurality of partial record information pieces, and applies a predetermined signal process to each of them to output processed partial record information pieces (Sr, P, 42, 43, 44). The signal process device also generates and outputs search reproduction control information (Snav, 41: NAVI-PACK) on the basis of control information (Si) to control a reproduction of the record information inputted from the external. The search reproduction control information includes time information (50: PCI), which indicates a reproduction time for each of the partial record information pieces. The search reproduction control information also includes search information (51: DSI) to search a record position on the information record medium. The apparatus is further provided with a multiplex device (75, 76) for time-axis-multiplexing the processed partial record information pieces and the search reproduction control information.

摘要： An information recording medium is recorded with a plurality of data groups, each including at least one of video information and audio information and a reproduction permission level by which a reproduction of at least one of the video information and the audio information is permitted; and a reproduction management information including the reproduction permission range information for prescribing the range of the reproduction permission level for the data group which reproduction is permitted. When the reproduction permission level and the reproduction management information are selected, the range of the reproduction permission level of the data groups which reproduction are permitted is detected on the basis of the reproduction permission level selected. Then, the data group is reproduced when the reproduction permission level of the selected data group is included in the range of the reproduction permission level detected.
